Ancestral Arms. Ganondorf has a +1 bonus on damage rolls with scimitars (included in the attack).

Dark Brute. A melee weapon deals one extra die of its damage when Ganondorf hits with it (included in the attack), which deals necrotic damage instead of the weapon's normal type. Ganondorf's weapon attacks are magical.

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Ganondorf fails a saving throw, he can choose to succeed instead.

Spell Resistance. Ganondorf has advantage on saving throws against spells.

Spellcasting. Ganondorf is a 16th-level spellcaster, and has 94 magic points. His spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 17, +9 to hit with spell attacks). Ganondorf knows the following witch spells, which he can cast without material components:

Cantrips: fire bolt, death bolt, prestidigitation, minor illusion, mold earth, vicious mockery
1st (2 mp): dark dive, detect magic, feather fall, Ganon's fist, jump, shield, sleep, transfer pain
2nd (3 mp): darkvision1, dead man's volley, detect thoughts, hold person, knock, magic mouth, mirror image, misty step, scorching ray
3rd (5 mp): bestow curse, counterspell, dispel magic, fly, lightning bolt, major image
4th (6 mp): dimension door, greater invisibility, locate creature, polymorph, splitting orb, stoneskin1, warping step
5th (7 mp): dominate person, scrying, telekinesis, wave of obliteration
6th2 (9 mp): circle of death, programmed illusion, true seeing
7th2 (10 mp): forcecage, project image, withering destruction

ACTIONS

Multiattack. Ganondorf makes three scimitar attacks, or two attacks otherwise.

Moblin Spear. Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: 17 (1d12 + 11) piercing damage plus 6 (1d12) necrotic damage.

LEGENDARY ACTIONS

Ganondorf can take 3 legendary actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action option can be used at a time and only at the end of another creature's turn. Ganondorf regains spent legendary actions at the start of his turn.

Detect. Ganondorf makes a Wisdom (Perception) check.

Shift. Ganondorf expends 3 magic points to cast misty step, or 5 magic points to cast fly.

Attack (Costs 2 Actions). Ganondorf makes one attack with his scimitar.

Cantrip (Costs 2 Actions). Ganondorf casts one cantrip.

Variant: No Spellcasting[edit]

If Ganondorf forgoes casting any spells, including stoneskin, he has an effective Challenge Rating of 13 (10,000 XP).
