Talk:5e To-Do List

From D&D Wiki

PLEASE MAKE IT SO YOU CAN SEARCH RACES AND CLASSES FOR A MAIN ABILITY SCORE. (search up int find high elf and gnome)

There's no way to automate this. You'd have to go through every race and class and manually add the relevant categories. — Geodude671 (talk | contribs | email)‎ . . 12:25, 26 December 2017 (MST)
Not unless the preload added a hidden section (like the summary) for primary attribute, and that would be listed on a dpl table. ~ BigShotFancyMan 13:15, 3 July 2019 (MDT)
Can't we just put a tag for main ability score? I know that would have to be done manually, but it could be started. Janderion (talk) 14:43, 1 April 2022 (MDT)

5e Skills[edit]

Isn't there already a list of homebrew 5e skills at 5e Rules#Skills? Or was there something different in mind? - Guy (talk) 10:18, 7 June 2018 (MDT)

Oh, sorry. You are right of course. --Green Dragon (talk) 10:25, 8 June 2018 (MDT)

All SRD spells by Level?[edit]

Essentially, just adding this page to the SRD Varkarrus (talk) 12:03, 20 November 2018 (MST)

I already added that to 5e SRD:Spells a few weeks ago. — Geodude Chatmod.png (talk | contribs | email)‎‎ . . 12:22, 20 November 2018 (MST)

First To-Do thing[edit]

So, Does that mean we just add "|notcategory=SRD" to all the homebrew spells in existence?--Yanied (talk) 09:42, 8 November 2019 (MST)

No, all the 5e lists on the wiki just need to be checked for "|notcategory=SRD" so the lists don't include SRD content.--Blobby383b (talk) 13:30, 8 November 2019 (MST)
Oh, alright.--Yanied (talk) 14:47, 12 November 2019 (MST)

Scheduled To-Do[edit]

I think it would be good to have a list of things which really should only have to be done perhaps once per month or two months. I really have in mind the tasks of going through various lists like all of the Uncategorized pages to revisit them on a regular basis Janderion (talk) 10:03, 3 April 2022 (MDT)

That sounds like a useful addition to the To-Do list. Makes sense to add these tasks. --Green Dragon (talk) 13:02, 6 April 2022 (MDT)

Supplement vs Setting[edit]

I believe there is a difference. A supplement supplements a setting. Revival (talk) 17:47, 11 April 2022 (MDT)

A "supplement" was intended to replace the "/" title, and make all pages that could use a "/" name to instead use a simpler naming scheme with just one identifier rather than multiple backslashes, or not knowing where the main title for the backslashes should be located. Also the main setting having an identifier also made using a backslash and then the setting identifier really messy.
"Supplement" pages are technically intended to replace the backslash. I imagine that the task here, is to replace the "supplement" with either a campaign specific identifier, other identifier? What is the task exactly? --Green Dragon (talk) 12:20, 9 May 2022 (MDT)
