Born on May 18th, age 757, to Chi-Chi and her husband Son Goku, Son Gohan's early childhood was far closer to his mother's than his father's. Named after Goku's adoptive grandfather, he was an intelligent boy with no love for fighting, despite being strong enough when enraged to be almost equal to fighters as strong as Raditz. At the age of four, while meeting his parents' friends, a mysterious figure appeared, introducing himself as his father's stronger alien brother. Gohan was then kidnapped and locked in the saiyan's space pod, temporarily awakening his true power to initiate a settup for Piccolo to land a killing blow on both of Gohan's only remaining ancestors. Being kidnapped yet again, this time by his father's killer, Gohan and Piccolo trained and survived in the wilderness in a manner similar to his father in order to become stronger to prepare for the next wave of saiyan invaders. |
