Gohan's Techniques[edit]

The following is a list of every technique Gohan can use. Attack bonuses, DCs, and the maximum number of techniques he can have at a given time should be specified on his page and are not included here. Any listed DCs remain constant across versions. Headers indicate the CR version of Gohan that gains a technique, with higher CR versions able to use any techniques available to lower CR versions (unless otherwise stated).


Gohan, Raditz Saga[edit]

Flight (1 Ki Point)/(Half Technique slot). As a bonus action, Gohan gains a flying speed equal to his movement speed.

Ki Blast (1 Ki Point)/(Half Technique slot). As a bonus action, Gohan's unarmed strikes have their reach increased by his moviment speed. until the end of his turn. He may spend 1 additional ki point to use this as a free action

Ki Suppression (0+ Ki Points)/(Half Technique slot). As a free action, bonus action, or reaction on Gohan's turn, he may select up to 1/10th of his Strength, Dexterity and Constitution. These are put in a "pool" where they can not be accessed by him. He may remove up to up to 1/10th of his {5a|Str}}, Dexterity and Constitution from the pool as a free action, bonus action, or reaction on his turn. Gohan may spend ki points to increase the amount added or removed from the pool by the initial amount added or removed per ki point spent.

For every 2/10th that Gohan suppress himself, he gain 1 Ki Point at the end of a turn (that won't happen if Gohan unsuppresses or suppress himself in the turn in question). Having a limit for this ki regeneration equal to half of the average of the Ki Charge dice (Unarmed dice without the STR or DEX bonus).

Super Unyielding Spirit (1 level of exhaustion)/(Half Technique slot). Gohan gains 10 ki points, and all creatures within 30 ft. must attempt a Strength saving throw, being pushed 30 ft. away on a failure, or 15 ft. away on a success. These Ki Points gained from this technique can go beyond Gohan's Ki maximum, but can't have more than 10 Extra Ki Points by this technique effects.

Sledgehammer (1 Ki Point)/(Half Technique slot). As part of an unarmed strike, the target must succeed a Constitution saving throw or be stunned until the end of Gohan's next turn. Gohan may only make one sledgehammer attack per turn.

Perfect Dodge (1 Ki Point)/(Half Technique slot). As a bonus action Gohan takes the dodge action.

Ki Jump (1 Ki Point)/(Half Technique slot). As a bonus action, Gohan jumps up to 30 feet and makes one unarmed strike.

Ki Surge (10 Ki Points)/(Half Technique slot). Gohan makes one action as a Free Action.

Bloody Dance (1 Ki Point)/(Half Technique slot). As a free action, any creatures Gohan hit with an unarmed attack until the beginning of his next turn can not take opportunity attacks until the end of his next turn.

Stand Ground (1+ Ki Point)/(Half Technique slot). Gohan takes half as much damage from all sources, but can not willingly move until the beginning of her next turn. Gohan may use this as a bonus action for 1 additional ki point.

Dad! (1 Ki Point)/(Half Technique slot). One creature within 15 ft. must attempt a Intelligence or Charisma saving throw or become stunned until the end of their next turn.

Gohan, Saiyan Saga[edit]

Masenko (1+ Ki Point). After charging for 0.5 rounds, all creatures in a 60 ft. long, 30 ft. wide line must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 7 (2d6) force damage. Gohan can add an additional 16 (2d6 + 9) force damage, increase its length by 30 feet, and increase its width by 10 feet for 1 additional ki point by charging for 0.5 a round.

Taunt (2 Ki Points)/(Half Technique slot). As an action one creature within 30 ft. of you must succeed a Wisdom saving throw or until the end of it's next turn, the next attack action, spells, features, techniques and abilities that the creature uses must target Gohan somehow or themself, otherwise, they have disadvantage.

Ki Sense (0+ Ki Points)/(Half Technique slot). As a free action, all creatures within his movement speed are detected. Until the end of Gohan's turn, creatures that were within the area can not be invisible to him. Additionally, he learns how many ki points and hit points the creature has, as well as its AC. Gohan may spend 1 additional ki, increasing its range by his movement speed each time. This can not sense creatures using a Godly Transformation.

Gohan, Namek Saga[edit]

Flurry of Blows (1 Ki Point). As a bonus action immediately after Gohan takes the Attack action on his turn, he makes two unarmed strikes.

Stand Ground (1+ Ki Point). Gohan takes half as much damage from all sources, but can not willingly move until the beginning of her next turn. Gohan may use this as a bonus action for 1 additional ki point.

Kiai (1+ Ki Points)/(Must have Ki sense) each creature within 10 feet must make a Strength saving throw or take 1d8 force damage and be pushed to the edge of this technique’s range. For every 2 ki points up to Gohan's Ki sense range added, 1d8 damage and 10 feet is added to the affected radius.

Kiai Blast (1+ Ki Points)/(Part of Kiai) When Gohan makes an attack with Ki blast, he may cause the ki blast's range to turn into a line and force creatures within the line to make a Strength saving throw, taking Kiai's damage + his strength modifier and be pushed back half the distance Kiai would do.

Rage State (1 Ki Point). As an action, Gohan's Strength, Dexterity and Constitution scores increase by +4, his AC increases by +4, his DCs, attack, damage bonuses by +2 and damage threshold by +4, his maximum and current hit points increase by twice his CR, his maximum ki points by 2, and his movement speed by 10 feet. Gohan become blood-lusted and must spend 1 Ki Point at the end of each of his turns to maintain this effect.

Ki Barrier (3+ Ki Points). As a bonus action, Gohan may create an up to 5-foot ki barrier. All creatures within gain a +6 damage threshold and damage reduction against effects outside the barrier until the end of his next turn. For every 2 additional ki points, he can either increase the damage threshold and reduction by 1 or expand the barrier by 5 feet. By spending 3 more ki points separately from the previous effects, he can further boost the damage reduction by his Ki Attack Modifier. He can extend the barrier's duration to the end of his next turn each turn by spending half the initial cost and his bonus action.

Reaction[edit]

Ki Barrier Reaction (Part of Ki Barrier). As a reaction for 3 additional Ki Points, Gohan uses Ki barrier.

Kiai Burst (5+ Ki Points)/(Part of Kiai) As a reaction to being targeted by an attack Gohan may use Kiai, causing the attack it may be made in response to, to miss in addition to its normal effects, and causing Kiai to deal half as much damage as it normally would.

Gohan, Android Saga[edit]

Afterimage Technique (2+ Ki Points)/(Half Technique slot). As a bonus action, or as a reaction to being targeted by a saving throw or attack roll, Gohan moves 10fts and forces any creatures that can see him to attempt a Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, he becomes invisible to them until the start of his next turn, or he attacks them.

Gohan may spend 1+ ki points, for each ki point he can move a additional 5ft, up to his moviment speed.

Spread-Shot Retreat (1 Ki Point). As part of taking the disengage action, Gohan makes 1 unarmed strike.

Exchange Blows (2 Ki Points)/(Half Technique slot). When an attack roll is made against Gohan, he makes an unarmed attack against the attacker.

Future Gohan[edit]

One-Handed Kamehameha/Hyper Masenko (5 Ki Points). When Gohan uses a Technique that deals damage that does not require charging, including Ki Blast, or when he begins charging a Technique that does require charging, he instead gathers its ki quickly in a single hand. If it did not require charging and was an action, he may use it as a bonus action or reaction. If it did require charging, he may make 1 bonus action or reaction on each of your turns without needing to make a concentration check.

Super Saiyan (1 Ki Point). As an action, Gohan's Strength, Dexterity and Constitution scores increase by +4, his AC increases by +4, his DCs, attack, damage bonuses by +2 and damage threshold by +4, his maximum and current hit points increase by twice his CR, his maximum ki points by 2, and his movement speed by 10 feet, his aura radiates bright light for 10 feet and dim light for another 10 feet. Gohan can't use Ki Suppression and must spend 1 Ki Point at the end of each of his turns to maintain this effect.

Gohan, Cell Games Saga[edit]

Kamehameha (5+ Ki Points). After charging for 2 rounds, every creature in a 60 ft. long, 30 ft. wide line must make a Constitution saving throw. If they fail they take 47 (7d10 + 18) force damage, but if they succeed they take half damage. You can increase this damage by 28 (2d10 + 18) for every additional ki point spent, increase its length by 30 ft., and increase its width by 15 ft. Each additional ki increases its charge time by 1 round.

Mastered Super Saiyan (1 Ki Point)/(Counts as 2.5 techniques, Replaces Super Saiyan). As an action, Gohan's Strength and Dexterity scores increase by +6, and his Constitution score increase by +4, his AC increases by +6, his DCs, attack, damage bonuses by +3 and damage threshold by +6, his maximum and current hit points increase by twice his CR, his maximum ki points by 2, and his movement speed by 15 feet, his aura radiates bright light for 10 feet and dim light for another 10 feet.

As a bonus action or when Gohan transforms into this form, he may reduce the bonus to his Strength,Dexterity and/or Constitution by 2 and may redistribute the total points anywhere in his Strength, Dexterity or Constitution scores, the bonuses can't be reduced below 4.

Super Saiyan 2 (2 Ki Points)/(Must have Super Saiyan 1 or Mastered Super Saiyan). As an action for 2 additional ki points, or as a bonus action while Super Saiyan is active, he gains this in addition to the benefits of Super Saiyan: Gohan's Strength, his Dexterity, Constitution scores increase further by +4, his AC increases by +4, his DCs, attack, damage bonuses by +2 and damage threshold by +4, his maximum and current hit points increase by twice his CR, his maximum ki points by 2, and his movement speed by 10 feet, his aura now radiates bright light for 20 feet and dim light for another 20 feet. Gohan can't use Ki Suppression and must spend 2 Ki Points at the end of each of his turns to maintain this effect.

Gohan, Buu Saga[edit]

Until Gohan have acess to Legendary Tier techniques, Potential Unleashed count as two slots, once he does have acess to Legendary Tier techniques, Potential Unleashed count as half as much towards his technique limit.

Ki Dash (2 Ki Points)/(Half Technique slot). As a Lengthy Action, Gohan moves forwards up to six times his moviment speed in a straight line, passing through creatures' spaces without additional movement speed cost, with opportunity attacks against him having disadvantage until the end of your turn.

Massive Blow (1+ Ki Points)/(Half Technique slot). As a Free Action when Gohan hits a creature with an unarmed strike, they must make a DC 29 Strength saving throw or be moved up to the damage dealt in feet rounded to the nearest 5. They can only move a maximum of 15 feet for every ki point spent. Anything in the creature's way must make a DC 29 Dexterity save, or take half the damage the targeted creature took from the massive hit, stopping them from moving further, unless this drops them to 0 hit points.

Potential Unleashed (10 Ki Points)/(Base Transformation). As an action, Gohan's Strength, Dexterity and Constitution scores increase by +12, his AC increases by +12, his DCs, attack, damage bonuses by +6 and damage threshold by +12, his maximum and current hit points increase by six times his CR, his maximum ki points by 6, and his movement speed by 30 feet. Gohan can when using the Ki Suppression technique, suppress instead of 1/10th at a time, he can suppress 10/10th at once and must spend 5 Ki Point at the end of each of his turns to maintain this effect.

Explosive Wave (2+ Ki Points)/(Charge 0.5). After charging for 0.5 round, all creatures in a 20-foot radius around Goan must make a Dexterity saving throw, on a fail they take 7 (2d6) force damage, on a success they take half of that damage. Gohan can add an additional 7 (2d6) force damage and increase the radius by 5 feet for 1 additional ki point by charging for 0.5 a round.

Gohan, GT[edit]

No other versions of Gohan have access to these techniques.

Super Saiyan 2 Mastered (4 Ki Points)/(Counts as 2.5 techniques, Replaces Super Saiyan 2). As an action, Gohan's Strength and Dexterity scores increase by +10, and his Constitution score increase by +8, his AC increases by +10, his DCs, attack, damage bonuses by +5 and damage threshold by +10, his maximum and current hit points increase by four times his CR, his maximum ki points by 4, and his movement speed by 25 feet, his aura radiates bright light for 10 feet and dim light for another 10 feet.

As a bonus action or when Gohan transforms into this form, he may reduce the bonus to his Strength,Dexterity and/or Constitution by 2 and may redistribute the total points anywhere in his Strength, Dexterity or Constitution scores, the bonuses can't be reduced below +8.

Explosive Madan (10 Ki Points). Gohan fires a 30 ft. radius ki blast up to 60 ft. from him. Every creature within range must attempt a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 66 (12d10) force damage. On a success, they take half as much damage. This damage decreases by 11 (2d10) for every 5 feet away from the initial target they are.

Gohan, Super[edit]

If it did not require charging and was an action, he may use it as a bonus action or reaction. If it did require charging, he may make 1 bonus action or reaction on each of your turns without needing to make a concentration check.

Laigiri (1 Ki Point)/(Half Technique slot). Once per turn when Gohan hits a creature with an attack that can't be charged he deals twice the damage die of the attack. If the target hasn't taken a turn since rolling for initiative, this does not cost ki.

Special Beam Cannon (5+ Ki Points). After charging for 3 rounds, all creatures in a 120ft x 5ft line must make a DC 38 Dexterity saving throw. If they can not move, they automatically fail. On a success, they take no damage. On a failure, they must take 63 (6d10+30) force damage. Gohan can sacrifice an additional 2 ki and spend an additional turn charging to increase its damage by 61 (3d10 + 30).

Ultra Divine Potential Unleashed (10 Ki Points). As an action while Potential Unleashed is active, Gohan's Strength, {{5a|dex} and Constitution increase by additional +12, his AC increases by additional +12, his DCs, attack, damage bonuses by additional +6 and damage threshold by additional +12, his maximum and current hit points increase by additional six times his CR, his maximum ki points by additional 6, and his movement speed by additional 30 feet. Gohan must spend 3 additional Ki Point at the end of each of his turns to maintain this effect.
