Welcome!

Hello Plywood tank, and welcome to D&D Wiki! I hope you are enjoying D&D Wiki and have been finding the information here useful. Before you start contributing, we recommend you make sure your user preferences match your preferences.

Questions

If you have any questions about a specific page please ask it on that page's talk page. If you have a D&D-related question, you can ask it on DnD Discussions. Everything relating to D&D Wiki's administration can be asked here. If you need to contact another user, please use their talk page.

Formatting

Syntax can be very difficult, and if you need help a good place to start is Help:Editing on Wikipedia (or even their Introduction page). This will explain basic wiki formatting and should provide quite a few useful links that explain more specific areas of wiki formatting. Help:Portal also provides detailed explanation of information important specifically to this community.

Community

A strong and welcoming community exists on D&D Wiki, and I'm sure you will find us friendly. To enable the community to function, a number of policies are in effect. Most importantly, we follow and expect you to follow Wikipedia's guidelines on civility and etiquette when discussing anything. As most work has multiple authors, please do not delete content without following our removal process. When posting a comment on a talk page, please ensure you sign your name with four tildes (~~~~) or by clicking on the signature icon (Signature icon.png). This will automatically produce your name and the date. I hope you come to enjoy D&D Wiki and the community. Welcome again, you are now a D&D Wikian. --SirSprinkles (talk) 15:45, 7 February 2021 (MST)

Potential Warnings[edit]

Hello, Plywood. This wiki has very a clearcut behavioral policy meant to keep this community civil and focused on making it as quality as possible. Your recent edit to Naruto: Shinobi (5e Class) violated this in multiple ways. Firstly, I shouldn't have to explain how the specific wording of your edit description does this. Secondly, the page in question has a much more active talk page than most on this wiki. While I'm fine with someone disagreeing with my decision, anyone should have the common sense and decency to at the very least compare ideas, as I attempted to do on the talk page. The topic hasn't been archived, and you had ample opportunity to offer a counter point. Seeing how you reacted, I have to state that this has nothing to do with being upset someone disagrees with my opinion, but that someone would inflict their own without any semblance of discussion on a project with such a rich history of discussion. Regarding the violations, I will be contacting admins, and I hope that you will be more community-minded in the future.--Ref3rence (talk) 18:32, 31 March 2021 (MDT)

cool -plywood tank
I appreciate the response, but I really would prefer you take it up on the discussion tab, so that there's an actual concessus, rather than either of us needlessly continuing to edit war.--Ref3rence (talk) 20:07, 31 March 2021 (MDT)

Warning on Edits from Shinobi Page[edit]

Before this devolves into a meaningless edit war, do make use of the page's discussion section as Ref3rence recommends. Seeing as this change was done twice, first with vulgar language and second as a reversion without discussion, I am giving you a formal warning. Please try to be civil and work constructively with other users in the future.--Yanied (talk) 11:43, 1 April 2021 (MDT)

Signing[edit]

Yo Plywood lol, you sign you posts in a very weird way, idk if you've been told before but to sign your posts all you have to do is put four of these (~) at the end of your post.--Jaydon105 (talk) 15:49, 23 April 2021 (MDT)
