Spin Attack
1st-level evocation
Casting time: 1 action
Range: Self (5-foot radius)
Components: V, M (a weapon)
Duration: Instantaneous

You brandish the weapon used in the spell's casting and whirl around in a circle, striking all foes within your reach. Make a melee weapon attack against any creature(s) of your choice within range. On a hit, a creature suffers the weapon's normal effects plus 1d6 force damage.

Alternatively, when you cast this spell you can elect to wind up for a turn before attacking. If you choose to do so, this spell doesn't take effect until you use your action on a subsequent turn to finalize casting this spell. When casting this spell in this way, its range is increased to a 10-foot radius, and a melee attack from this spell deals an extra 1d6 force damage on a hit.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, a melee attack from this spell inflicts an extra 1d6 force damage to its target for each slot level above 1st.
