Tags n' Such[edit]

Hey, appreciate that you're trying to help out with the content coming through recent changes, but this probably won't get us anywhere. A lot of people seem to give up after their stuff is consistently tagged and they get left to nerf it until somebody they have next to no contact with decides it's fine.

Not asking you to stop helping, but try and throw the poor sods a bone along with the tags? Like, say how you'd fix it, or fix some of the wording in the meantime. It's not too much more effort, and it'll probably lead somewhere good much faster. --SwankyPants (talk) 08:07, 24 January 2022 (MST)

Yeah, you're right. I should not write only that something is imbalanced without including at least one idea to properly fix it, neither should I write it and then forget about it, so in some cases really good ideas will slide into an everlasting hole of needsbalance. Thanks for pointing that out and, well, I'll try my best to improve --Cezaryx (talk) 08:50, 24 January 2022 (MST)

"Minor" edits[edit]

Completely changing a page isn't a minor edit. Adding a new subrace to an existing page isn't a minor edit. Proposing to delete a page isn't a minor edit. Maintenance templates aren't minor edits. What do you think that check box is for? - Guy 01:21, 9 February 2022 (MST)

Hmm, I thought marking all edits as minor is not a default way, so I never really looked on this option, because I never really made any minor edits. I'll change this in my preferences, and big thanks for pointing this out. Good God, three months without realizing this. --Cezaryx (talk) 01:36, 9 February 2022 (MST)

Deletion Reasons[edit]

Hey there Cezaryx, I wanted to discuss maintenance templates tags with you, specifically deletion. Most of the pages you have added the {{delete}} template to that were abandoned did in fact need to be deleted, but they would use different reasons for deletions than abandoned. As stated on the {{abandoned}} template, only pages that have the abandoned template on them for more than a year qualify to being deleted for being abandoned. The wiki otherwise uses a variety of different reasons for deletion which you can find more detail on here. To summarize though, the main reason most homebrew pages are deleted is for not being playable or for the "Not enough information to be playable/improved upon" reason. Thanks for your time, --Blobby383b (talk) 15:25, 9 February 2022 (MST)

Okay, I'll re-read the help section and I'll bear that in mind for any future edits. Thanks for pointing that out--Cezaryx (talk) 00:14, 10 February 2022 (MST)

Civility[edit]

Please refrain from insulting other users in edit summaries. If I have misunderstood this comment, feel free to let me know. Revival (talk) 13:01, 28 February 2022 (MST)

Well, after getting through 30-some pages made and/or edited by this user, some tagging, some fixing, and seeing that not a single time his input was different from needless, unrealistic buffs, overpowered frankensteins of other pages and one, single grammatical correction, I got tired, and a little frisky, not really trying to insult someone as to vent myself out. I shouldn't have made that comment, edit summaries are not for that, neither someone's feelings should be trashed, and I'll try to keep cool and don't do stupid remarks next time around. That being said, I am yet to see something this user has ever done that was sensible, or in line with 5e sense of adjusting power or balancing, in his activity period on the wiki, that long since ended; and I'm tempted to say it wasn't for the worse, certainly less work for other people that have respect to other's work, not to mention their own, to deal with. --Cezaryx (talk) 14:19, 28 February 2022 (MST)
I can empathize with these issues. Just remember the edits won't go anywhere and you can always revisit them.
I do wonder if there isn't something more that can be done. Thanks for sharing more details about the edits. Revival (talk) 11:51, 3 March 2022 (MST)

I am requesting you to take some time away from Talk:Vampire, Variant (5e Race). The messages aren't anything that would welcome an environment users want to be part of, especially when they are blatantly told to not create content. I am going to try and help the user, with a little more accurate information as well. Revival (talk) 08:47, 28 March 2022 (MDT)

Brødrene Dal's Backpack of infinite storage[edit]

Sorry if I am writing this in the wrong place, but if this is the correct place to contact you may you look at the current version of Brødrene Dal's Backpack of infinite storage? - Pokegard (talk)

Not a wrong place, just make new section(with using "== something ==" before), also, do not worry, I have e-mail notifications, I would return to the page after you edited sooner or later to check if everything is safe and sound. In the meantime I wrote my two bits about it on the talk page--Cezaryx (talk) 04:23, 10 March 2022 (MST)

Wikicookie[edit]

Oh, big thanks for the Wikicookie! --Cezaryx (talk) 01:14, 24 March 2022 (MDT)

Your help's always appreciated for looking through the races (among other things) for balance and tagging problems. -Yanied (talk) 19:59, 23 March 2022 (MDT)
