You conjure in your hands a sword made of ethereal light that seems to bend and twist the space around it. When you cast this spell and as an action on each of your turns for the duration, you can make a melee spell attack on a creature you can see that is within 60 feet of you, ignoring any intervening distance between, using your spellcasting ability modifier as your to-hit bonus. Upon a successful hit, inflict 3d10 force damage to the target. If the attack was a critical success, the target must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failure, the creature is stunned for until the start of your turn, and is not stunned on a success.
At Higher Levels. When casting this spell at 4th level or higher, increase the damage of this spell by 1d10 and the effective range of this spell by 15 feet for each spell level above 3rd.
