You make an attack roll, not "roll AC." Will is undefined. SirSprinkles (talk) 14:39, 19 December 2023 (MST)

There's also no such thing as "roll Will" and I encourage the OP to read the Player's Handbook and Monster Manual. Marasmusine (talk) 01:26, 20 December 2023 (MST)

I just realized you 2 are always saying my stuff isn't good, And I find that kinda offensive, because for one, the monster attack description REALLY confuses me, and Its not fun to put your own ideas into something and someone comes and basically says its shit, and I hate that. Im mainly talking about SirSprinkles, because EVERY SINGLE one of my stuff has be criticized by you. Marasmusine, you're pretty cool, and very helpful, but it is kinda sad that you do this. I understand why you 2 do it, but I don't really like it, I think its pretty explanatory. --Frostboi27 (talk) 09:16, 20 December 2023 (MST)

I have never once said that your stuff isn't good - I said on the Pop Star page that I like your ideas! It is just a fact that your pages are not using the D&D ruleset on a wiki that is for D&D material. That's all that needs changing, I do not have a problem with your concepts and ideas. If you do not want other people giving contructive criticism, and you do not want others editing the page, then do not submit your material to a wiki. The whole point of a wiki is that it is collaborative. You may prefer to publish on a personal blog or somesuch. Marasmusine (talk) 11:51, 21 December 2023 (MST)
An open-editing community is kinda a place for criticism... especially to make playable content here. You might want to find the resources to better understand the game's design philosophy and mechanics. I recall you mentioning you haven't looked at some of the core sourcebooks? Might be helpful to take a glance.--Yanied (talk) 20:42, 21 December 2023 (MST)

Okay it's been a few days and there hasn't been further discussion, so I've been proactive and rewritten the page so that it works with D&D. I don't forsee any justification for having "roll AC" instead of a hit roll, or "roll Will" instead of a Wisdom saving throw - not that there's anything wrong with alternate mechanics but if there is such a variant ruleset it could be something that can apply equally to _any_ monster. For example "roll AC" could simply a reversal of a hit roll: what would be +5 to hit and 12 AC would be a +2 AC roll against DC 15. Marasmusine (talk) 09:27, 23 December 2023 (MST)
