Vicious Rant

You lace your words with withering magic and aggressively rant at a creature or object in range. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 1d8 necrotic damage. If the target is a creature, it also has disadvantage on the first ranged spell attack roll it makes before the end of its next turn.

At Higher Levels. This spell’s damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8).
