Weapon Damage Weight Properties
Unmaker  (Very Rare) 3d8, 3d10 or 3d12 necrotic 4 lb. Ammunition (range 120/360), loading, special, two-handed

The unmaker is a demonic weapon made from quivering meat and bone and fueled by human souls.

When you first find the unmaker, it has 20 shots. When you reduce a humanoid or a fiend with the possessed tag to 0 hit points with the unmaker, the unmaker gains 1d8 shots. If you use a supercharge while holding the unmaker, the unmaker gains 3d8 shots.

Damage

The unmaker fires a beam of death that deals damage based on the type of creature hit:

  • Fiend: 3d12 necrotic damage
  • Fiend (cybrid): 3d10 necrotic damage
  • Fiend (possessed) and all other creatures: 3d8 necrotic damage

Weapon Runes

If you attach a weapon rune to the unmaker, it becomes more powerful:

  • Uncommon weapon rune: While enhanced, the unmaker does not have the loading property, and you gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with the unmaker.
  • Rare weapon rune: While enhanced, the unmaker does not have the loading property, gains the short burst (1) property, and you gain a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with the unmaker.
  • Very Rare weapon rune: While enhanced, the unmaker does not have the loading property, gains the short burst (2) property, and you gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with the unmaker.

When the weapon rune expires, the unmaker continues to function normally and is not rendered unusable.
