About This Feat[edit]

Looking at this feat, I believe it qualifies under Feats with Stricter Requirements (5e Variant Rule) as it either requires sorcerer levels by requiring the Metamagic feature or it requires the Metamagic Adept feat. Besides that, I believe the ability to reduce the Quickened Spell Metamagic to 1 sorcery point is too powerful an effect for a feat as it comparably gives you many more sorcery points than the Metamagic Adept feat at higher levels. Due to this, I believe the feat is currently too powerful and believe that 1 sorcery point/metamagic option could be given in replacement of the sorcery point reduction, or this feat could not be a half-feat and the sorcery point reduction could be replaced with giving say 3 sorcery points or giving perhaps 2 sorcery points and another Metamagic option. --Blobby383b (talk) 12:35, 31 January 2022 (MST)

All right, sounds good. I was really hesitant to put in the sorcery point reduction in the first place, and I just did because I liked the feature. Looking back on it, I think it is too powerful, especially in conjunction with being able to put on two metamagic options on a spell instead of one. I'll go ahead and change it to gaining an additional metamagic option. Thanks for your input! --MarshDASavage (talk) 15:53, 31 January 2022 (MST)
