Range: Self (15-foot cube)
Components: V, S, M (a piece of ice)
Duration: Instantaneous


A freezing wave of ice explodes in a 15-foot cube centred on yourself. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 2d6 cold damage and 2d6 piercing damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the cold damage or the piercing damage (your choice) increases by 1d6 for each slot level above 2nd.
