Help talk:Help Page

Someone needs to go through and explain what each type of helper actually does. Like, I'm pretty sure that a formatting helper is supposed to help people with wiki code and preloads, but without an explanation, who knows?? --Kydo (talk) 06:25, 27 September 2016 (MDT)

I don*t understand how to add myself to the list. I would want to be a helper for proofreading and 3.5e balance. Any help? Rorix the White (talk) 18:25, 2 December 2018 (MST)

Add [[Category:Proofreading Helper]] and [[Category:3.5e Balancing Helper]] to your user page. Simple as that. Quincy (talk) 18:50, 2 December 2018 (MST)

Featured Article Helper[edit]

Would this category be appropriate? The featured article process states "An administrator should be involved in this process in order to complete the process, as it involves writing a page summary and editing several administrator-locked pages. If no administrators have become involved by the time a vote has been closed, one should be contacted to complete the process". A DPL on the Featured Article page of admins currently helping may aid users, and the community here in general. I am not sure if people think that a proofreader, balancer, etc. is essentially the same thing and this category would be redundant. ~ BigShotFancyMan (talk) 10:52, 18 December 2018 (MST)

I think it's a good idea. --Kydo (talk) 19:05, 18 December 2018 (MST)
I think so as well. --Green Dragon (talk) 22:52, 18 December 2018 (MST)
Thanks for creating that category GD. Glad others found it useful. If you hadn't noticed, a dpl was placed on Featured Article main page. (cheyeah awesome!) ~ BigShotFancyMan (talk) 06:30, 19 December 2018 (MST)
