Broom Icon.svg.png This page needs grammatical help. Reason: A number of spelling/grammatical/capitalization/wording errors throughout. Consult the Help:When to Italicize and Capitalize for help. The traits need to be mechanically worded correctly as they are often vague. For example, race names, and alignments shouldn't be capitalized, "mod" should be "modifier", etc. The Musicus Meter (5e Guideline) should help with some of the incorrect wording.

Treant[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

oOOua7r.jpg
A Treant surrounded with small fey creatures

The name Treant is a combination of the words tree and ent with ent meaning giant. The way to determine these creatures from normal trees would be the surrounding area as Treants are loved by fey creatures and are seen as mighty protectors of the forest. These giants have many different colored skin depending on what kind of forest it was born in there are hawthorn, oak, and pine variants but those are just a few.

History[edit]

Treants lived in harmony with the other nations as they were huge but gentle, some may call them gentle giants. There once were male and female Treants as they needed to reproduce but as time progressed and man became stronger they would cut down the mighty giants resulting in the loss of females. Having lost the female Treants they were forced to change the way they lived and went from being more social creatures to much more secluded, living only with other Treants. After the extinction of the female Treants, they had to reproduce somehow resulting in the sprouting of babies known as Sproutlings.

Society[edit]

The Treants were once a social species living in harmony with humans, elves, and dwarves but as the human civilization grew and they needed material they would chop down the Treants giving them a significant loss in giants. They became a secluded species living with only other Treants after that instance having the occasional company of tiny fey creatures.

Treant Names[edit]

Treants don't have a gender as they don't breed per se, they regrow by seeds brought around by birds and the wind.

Unisex: Algaltendril, Pygmymaple, Scorchedtwig, Oakentwig, Pinelock, Thistlestump
