This feat makes logical sense, as it offers something that would be appropriate for someone like that. The thing is, it is weirdly written as a feat; normally a feat grants some benefits. Period. Only mechanical customization in official feats are a choice of spells(if feat grants you any). So having to freely choose from a group, it's safe to assume that overall a feat will be as strong as it's strongest part. Here I think permanent lightning resistance combined with bludgeoning one(and let's not forget about fall reduction) makes it really strong, even if it's still mostly situational. Not to mention 20ft paladin smite(death) zone. Also feats should feel like something you can learn - or, in some cases of racial feats, train or inherit. Taking a quick course of doubling your size with air, then shrinking sounds silly without magic involved. Albeit, I do not have in mind any solution to this, so you can literally skip my input here. --Cezaryx (talk) 06:36, 24 November 2021 (MST)
I also have some thoughts about this feat. The first thing is that you are supposed to be able to train for a feat, as mentioned by Cezaryx above. I don't know how to convey the honestly unrealistic effects this feat provides with some sort of training. Besides that, resistance to the bludgeoning, slashing, or piercing damage types are strong and really, over the budget of a feat's power level.
