Is the base damage the same as a normal arrow? Are there any drawbacks of using these arrows? Marasmusine (talk) 06:46, 24 August 2015 (MDT)

Actually, I just spotted the drawback, you have to spend a bonus action to light the arrow. Maybe that's enough. Marasmusine (talk) 15:17, 24 August 2015 (MDT)
I also add the loss any advantage when attempting a surprise attacks because it is common scene. Azernath (talk) 16:32, 24 August 2015 (MDT)
Originally I had a draw back of it having a reduced range, but then I thought "You're paying extra for an arrow specifically designed for this, surely it would work as a normal arrow. You would need a ready torch/flame to light the arrow before firing, if you feel like it's still overpowered the price/weight can always be increased. Oh, also I'm not sure how to make these (this and assassin arrow) appear on the weapon list as ammunition.ChldOfTheNxtGen (talk) 05:25, 25 August 2015 (MDT)

In the PHB ammunition is adventuring gear, but I'll add a section on the weapons page. Marasmusine (talk) 06:32, 25 August 2015 (MDT)
