Orb of Deception (5e Spell)

You conjure a spirit orb akin to those of kitsunes of legend. All creatures within a 30ft line must make a Dexterity saving throw or take 4d6 necrotic damage or half as much on a success. The orb then retracts itself back to the caster at the end of their turn, causing any creatures within a line between the orb's terminus point and the caster to make a Dexterity saving throw, or take another 4d6 necrotic damage.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, increase the damage dealt by the orb by 1d6 every tier above 1st.
