Hollow[edit]

Hollows are a race of creatures which are born from Human souls who, for various reasons, do not cross over to Soul Society after their death and stay in the Human World for too long. They are corrupt spirits with supernatural powers which devour the souls of both living and deceased Humans. Hollows settle in Hueco Mundo, but can cross over to the Human World and Soul Society. Hollows are the opposite of Humans.

A Unpure Soul[edit]

You can only use this class if you are from the Hollow race.

Creating a Hollow[edit]

When creating a Hollow, think about how you became one. Were you killed by hollows while being a soul? Did you just came out of nowhere? Have you just slowly turned into this monster after death?

Quick Build

You can make a Hollow quickly by following these suggestions. First, Strength or Dexterity should be your highest ability score, followed by Constitution or Wisdom.

Reiryoku[edit]

Starting at 1st level, you are able to directly utilize the power of your soul. Your access to this energy is represented by a number of Reiryoku points. You have a number of Reiryoku points equal to 5 times your level.

When you spend a Reiryoku point, it is unavailable until you finish a short or long rest. At the end of a long rest, all expended Reiryoku points returns to you.

Some of your Reiryoku features require your target to make a saving throw to resist the feature's effects, or you to make a Reiryoku attack. Wisdom is your ability modifier for these features. The saving throw DC and spell attack bonus are calculated as follows:

Reiryoku save DC: 8 + your proficiency bonus + Wisdom modifier.

Reiryoku attack modifier: your proficiency bonus + Wisdom modifier.

Mutation[edit]

Also at 1st level, your hollow biology made your body highly prone to mutations, making you gain new powerfull abilities. You must pick one mutation from the Hollow Mutations list. You can pick another mutation according to the list bellow:

Gillian A number of mutations equal to half your Hollow class level (Rounded Up).
Adjuchas A number of mutations equal to your Hollow class level.

Whenever you evolve you lose all of the mutations of your old evolution, unless you still meet the prerequisites of said mutation. For example, when you become a Gillian you lose all Base Hollow mutations (as all of them require you to be a base hollow).

Reiatsu[edit]

At 2nd level, Reiatsu is the physical force that a creature's Reiryoku creates when released.

Reikaku

You become aware of the levels of any creatures within 5 times your proficiency bonus times your Hollow level feets of you, as long as these levels originate from Spiritual Classes. You can know what class the creature is just by sensing their reiatsu.

Spiritual Power

Sometimes the reiatsu a creature constantly exerts is so great that their opponents cannot even harm them. For every level you are above a creature, you gain a bonus against their saving throws by 1, and when you reach a 3 level difference you start reducing all damage per level above times your proficiency bonus. If a creature's damage is reduced to 0 by this feature, they take the damage instead. If you are at least 10 levels above a creature, you automatically pass their saving throws and their attacks deal no damage to you.

Powerful Presence

A creature with high levels of reiatsu can make another creature even faint just from looking at them. Whenever you use your spiritual pressure feature, you may also make a Charisma (Intimidation) check with a bonus of +1 for every level you are above the creature.

Spiritual Pressure

If one or more creatures level or CR is half your own(rounded up) or lower, you may force them to attempt a Strength saving throw at the beginning of each of your turns. On a failure, they are knocked prone and their movement speed drops to 0 until the beginning of your next turn, and they take force damage based on the level difference. For example, if you're a level 10 Hollow and fight a level 1 soul reaper, they will receive 9 force damage.

The amount of damage you cause with your spiritual pressure depends on how well refined your reiryoku is. Depending on your Wisdom modifier, your force damage will turn into a number of dies equal to the difference instead of your level. See the table bellow for reference:

Garganta[edit]

At 3rd level, you have learned how to open a portal back to the home of all hollows, hueco mundo. As an action for 10 Reiryoku, you open a portal between dimensions around yourself, sending you to Hueco Mundo. If you do not move more than 5 feet or lose concentration, you are transported to any location you can visualize in Hueco Mundo or a random location on the plane, or to the last place you used Garganta, at the beginning of your next turn. If you are already within Heuco Mundo, this portal instead works as if it were the gate spell, minus that you cannot pull a creature through the gate.

Hollow Regeneration[edit]

At 3rd level, your body slowly heals while in areas with condensed Reiatsu. While you're in the Hueco Mundo plane, you regain 1d4 hit points after every minute that passes.

At 9th level, the amount of hit points you regain per minute is increased to 1d10.

Ability Score Improvement[edit]

When you reach 4th level, and again at 6th, 8th, 12th, 14th, 16th and 19th level, you can increase one ability score of your choice by 2, or you can increase two ability scores of your choice by 1. As normal, you can't increase an ability score above 20 using this feature.

You may also ignore this to take a Spiritual Feat.

Gillian[edit]

At 5th level, after consuming countless hollows, you have evolved, becoming the lowest class of Menos, the Menos Grande(or Gillian). You lose your Beast Form, Hollow Weapons, and Deformed Body traits. In their place, you gain the following racial features:

Hulking Monstrosity. Your strength score increases by 1, to a maximum of 20. Your size is gargantuan.

Stomp. You can use your massive feet as natural weapons. On a hit, they deal 2d4 + your Strength modifier bludgeoning damage. When you take the attack action on your turn, you can choose to spend all of your attacks to target everyone within 20 feet of you with this attack. Make 1 attack roll, all targets which AC is equal to or less than the total for the attack roll are hit. This also applies if it was a critical hit.

Spiritual Amalgamation. You have advantage on saving throws against effects that would affect your soul, such as the soul cage spell, since your body is made up of the souls of many creatures.

Extra Attack[edit]

Starting at 5th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, when you use the Attack action during your turn.

This increases to three attacks at 10th level, to four at 17th level, and to five attacks at 20th level.

Unarmored Defense[edit]

Also at 5th level, if you are not wearing any armor or wielding a shield, your Armor Class equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Wisdom modifier.

You gain this feature early if you’ve evolved past a base hollow before level 5. If you did, you gain this at the level you evolved at.

Reiatsu-Empowered Strikes[edit]

At 6th level, the spiritual pressure constantly coming from you makes your attacks deadlier. Your unarmed strikes and natural weapons now count as magical for the porpuse of overcoming resistances and immunities.

Resistant[edit]

At 7th level, your strength as a Hollow has allowed you to resist certain area effects, such as a blue dragon's lightning breath or a fireball spell. Choose one of the following ability scores:

Brawn - Strength

Evasion - Dexterity

Endurance - Constitution

Intuition - Wisdom

When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a saving throw of the chosen ability to only take half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail. When you reach your 20th level, you may choose another saving throw to benefit from this.

Adjuchas[edit]

At 11th level, after consuming an innumerable amount of hollows, you've evolved into a middle-stage Menos; an Adjuchas. You lose your Hulking Monstrosity, Handless, Stomp, and Spiritual Amalgamation racial features. In their place, you gain the following racial features:

Condensed Power. Your strength, dexterity, and wisdom scores all increase by 2, to a maximum of 20. Your size is large. You add 10 to your Reiryoku maximum, and you are considered one level higher for calculating your Reiatsu.

Leader of the Gillian. Whenever you attempt to persuade or intimidate Gillian into doing something for you, you have advantage, and add double your proficiency bonus to the roll.

Harmonized Amalgamation. You have advantage on saving throws against effects that would affect your soul, such as the soul cage spell, since you have many souls harmonized within your body. If you fail a save against such an effect, you can reroll your saving throw once, taking the higher result.

Your GM may also use these additional rules for a more canon game experience, however they make playing much harder.

Hunger. Your newfound strength requires constant maintenance. If you do not consume at least one adjuchas class menos per month for 3 months in a row you revert to a Gillian and cannot evolve further.

Stolen Might. Something lost may never be regained. If another Hollow consumes any piece of you weighing at least one pound you can no longer level up in the Hollow class.

Monstrous Peak[edit]

Finally at 20th level, you've grown as strong as some of the strongest hollows, rivaling even the likes of Espada #1. Your Reiryoku maximum increases by 20, you gain 3 ability score improvements which can only be used to increase your ability scores (not to gain feats).

An Arrancar is a Hollow that has removed its mask and has gained Soul Reaper-like powers.

Zanpakuto[edit]

When you became an arrancar, you seal the nuclei of your abilities within the form of a sword. It is entirely different from what Soul Reapers use. You must choose one of the following types of Zanpakuto to pocess:

Tanto

Your Zanpakuto is very tiny, looking very puny compared to others. It has the light and finesse property, and deals piercing damage on a hit.

Katana

Your Zanpakuto resembles a traditional japanese sword, most soul reapers have this type of Zanpakuto. You can choose between it having the versatile (no higher damage dice) and finesse properties, and deals slashing damage on a hit.

Nodachi

Your Zanpakuto is quite large, being very imposing by nature. It has the two-handed and heavy property, and deals slashing damage on a hit.

Biological

Your Zanpakuto is part of your body, being attached to you. Your zanpakuto is a natural weapon that substitutes one of your limbs, dealing bludgeoning, slashing or piercing damage on a hit(your choice when choosing the zanpakuto).

Your Zanpakuto’s damage dice depends on your level and your evolution before you became an arrancar. Consult the following table below (though note, it is usually only possible to become an arrancar at 8th level).

Even if your zanpakuto breaks, it will become fully restored at the end of a long rest.

Arrancar Mutation[edit]

You have stopped evolving after you became an arrancar, however you can still grow stronger. You count as greater than your previous evolution (though not as the next evolution, and you gain mutations at the same rate as your previous evolution). However, you can choose mutations from Arrancar Mutations or hollow mutation of your choice that you meet the prerequisites of whenever you gain a mutation, as well as when reselecting mutations lost.

You gain this feature early if you evolve into an arrancar earlier somehow.

Primal Strikes[edit]

When you became an arrancar, your time as a hollow has made unarmed fighting second nature to you. You can use your dexterity modifier, instead of your strength modifier, for attack and damage rolls with your unarmed strikes. Your unarmed strike’s damage dice depends on your evolution and level (consult the table below for what it is), though you can choose to treat it as 1 instead for any of your unarmed strikes.

Descorrer[edit]

At 3rd level, as an arrancar you have an improved version of Garganta. When you use Garganta outside of initiative, you no longer have to concentrate or not move for the portal to open; the gate simply instantaneously. Other creatures can enter the gate, however you are still unable to speak the name of a creature to draw them into it automatically. When used in this way, this feature functions as a gate spell to Hueco Mundo outside of Hueco Mundo.

Fighting Style[edit]

At 7th level, you adopt a particular style of fighting as your specialty. Choose one of the following options. You can't take a Fighting Style option more than once, even if you later get to choose again:

Versatile Fighting

Once per turn you can both attack with a versatile weapon you are wielding and grapple or shove a creature as if you replaced an attack. Such grapple or shove has a +2 to its check.

Heavyweight Fighting

You can use your weight, and the weight of your weapon, to land devastating blows. While you are wielding a heavy melee weapon, you gain a +1 bonus to damage rolls and you have advantage on Strength (Athletics) checks to Shove.

Classical Swordplay

While wielding a finesse weapon and no other weapons, you gain a +1 bonus to your attack rolls and AC so long as you are not using Heavy Armour or a Shield.

Lightfoot Fighter

You're very quick on your feet, being very refined with your weapons. While wielding a light melee weapon, you gain a +10 to your walking speed and do not take opportunity attacks from the last creature you attacked on your turn as long as it was made with a light weapon.

Dual Wielding

When you take the Attack action while two-weapon fighting, you can make the single bonus attack with your off-hand weapon as part of your Attack action, instead of your bonus action, adding your ability modifier to the damage of this attack.

Protector

When a creature you can see hits you, or a target within 5 feet, with a melee attack, you can use a reaction to add your proficiency bonus to the target's Armor Class against that attack. You must be wielding a shield or a melee weapon.

Blind Warrior

You have blindsight with a range in feet equal to 5 times your proficiency bonus. In that range, you can see invisible targets and anything that isn't behind total cover or hidden from you.

Improved Unarmored Defense

You gain a +1 bonus to your AC while not wearing any kind of armor or shield.

Dueling

When you are wielding a melee weapon in one hand and no other weapons, you gain a +2 bonus to damage rolls with that weapon.

Great Weapon Fighting

When you roll a 1 or 2 on a damage die for an attack you make with a melee weapon that you are wielding with two hands, you can reroll the die and must use the new roll, even if the new roll is a 1 or a 2. The weapon must have the two-handed or versatile property for you to gain this benefit.

Ressurreción[edit]

At 10th level, you have managed to finally have access to the power that was sealed away on your zanpakuto. You must choose a release command word for your zanpakuto. As a bonus action for 10 Reiryoku, you can shout your release command word to enter your "Ressurreción" state. You gain the following benefits for 1 minute while on this state:

  • Your Strength, Dexterity and Wisdom scores increase by 2 including their maximums.
  • Your Reiatsu feature range doubles and deals twice as much damage.
  • Your movement speed increases by 10 ft.
  • You count as one level higher for the Reiatsu feature.

You can end your ressurreción at will.

You will also gain a Ressurreción type, which you must choose from the Ressurreción Type List. Your Ressurreción type grants you feature at 10th, 15th and 20th levels.

When you enter your Resurrección state, you regain up to half of your maximum hit points. You cannot do so again until 10 minutes have passed since your Resurrección state ended. This increases to up to your maximum hit points at 20th level.

This healing is halved if you are a Gilliancar(a quarter of your maximum hit points at 10th level, and half of your maximum hit points at 20th level).

Beyond Ressureción[edit]

Finally at 20th level, you managed to not only completely master your ressurreción, but also gain a new form. You can now activate your Ressurreción as a free action, and it's duration is increased to 2 minutes.

You have also learned how to access a even deeper power within yourself. As an action for 15 Reiryoku or as a bonus action for 5 Reiryoku if you're already in the Ressureción state, you can enter your "Beyond Ressureción" state. You gain the following additional benefits while on this form:

  • Your Strength, Dexterity and Wisdom scores increase by 2 once again, and so does their maximums.
  • Your movement speed doubles.
  • You count as two levels higher for the Reiatsu feature.

You also gain additional benefits based on your Ressureción type.

When you release your Zanpakuto, your whole body changes, turning you into a giant monster that resembles a kaiju.

Get Pissed Off!

At 10th level, your power comes from your anger. When you activate your Ressureción, you gain additional benefits:

  • You gain a +2 to your Constitution score, including it's maximum.
  • You gain the benefits of the Boundless Size mutation while you're in the Ressurreción state. Also, you gain 2 additional legs, increasing your lenght. Your walking speed doubles, and you may take the dash action as a bonus action while you're in the Ressurreción state. Additionally, you ignore difficult terrain. Your Zanpakuto merges with your body, giving you a damage bonus on your unarmed strikes equal to your zanpakuto damage die.
Rage Empowerment

At 15th level, You're very easily angered, and that anger can make you stronger, stronger than anything ever seen before. You must decide a type of event alongside your GM that makes you angry, make sure it's not something that can happen every turn, but often enough to take effect. Whenever that event happens, your ressurecion grows stronger and larger, giving you the following benefits:

  • Your size increases by one.
  • All of your damage dice are increased by one.
  • The range of your attacks and saving throws increases by 10ft., and so does their width.

If you reach 20 of these boosts, your Ressureción evolves, making you gain the following benefits:

  • Your Constitution score increases by 2, including it's maximum.
  • You gain advantage in Strength and Constitution saving throws.
  • You gain resistance to all damage types but psychic.
  • You lose your extra legs, however you still keep your previous benefits from having them.

After evolving your ressureción, your next rage boosts now take two rage events to trigger, and you cannot evolve again before leaving your ressureción.

Beyond Ressureción

Finally at 20th level, you managed to not only completely master your ressurreción, but also gain a new form. You can now activate your Ressurreción as a free action, and it's duration is increased to 2 minutes.

You have also learned how to access a even deeper power within yourself. As an action for 15 Reiryoku or as a bonus action for 5 Reiryoku if you're already in the Ressureción state, you can enter your "Beyond Ressureción" state. You gain the following additional benefits while on this form:

  • Your Strength, Dexterity and Wisdom scores increase by 2 once again, and so does their maximums.
  • Your movement speed doubles.
  • You gain a damage reduction equal to your Constitution modifier.
  • You gain immunity to non-magical bludgeoning, slashing and piercing damage.

When you release your zanpakuto, you turn into a giant monstrosity with limitless potential and unsatiable hunger.

Devour!

At 10th level, your power comes from your immense hunger. While on your ressureción state, you gain additional benefits:

  • Your lower body turns into a huge, purple blob-like mass resembling an incredibly bloated invertebrate or octopus, with dozens of stubby tentacles, large red eyes, and large mouths complete with teeth. Your size increases to huge, and your unarmed strikes now deal your zanpakuto damage die if they're not already higher as your zanpakuto merges with you.
  • You gain the Hollow Eater mutation, while and outside your ressureción.
Unsatiable Hunger

At 15th level, your unique ability has evolved, showing that your hunger is unsatiable. Your Hollow Eater mutation now grants you Reiryoku from all the hollows you have devoured divided by 75(rounded to the nearest 5).

Beyond Ressurreción

Finally at 20th level, you managed to not only completely master your ressurreción, but also gain a new form. You can now activate your Ressurreción as a free action, and it's duration is increased to 2 minutes.

You have also learned how to access a even deeper power within yourself. As an action for 15 Reiryoku or as a bonus action for 5 Reiryoku if you're already in the Ressureción state, you can enter your "Beyond Ressureción" state. You gain the following additional benefits while on this form:

  • Your Strength, Dexterity and Wisdom scores increase by 2 once again, and so does their maximums.
  • Your movement speed doubles.
  • Your hollow Eater mutation now grants you Reiryoku from all the hollows you have devoured divided by 50(rounded to the nearest 5).
  • Your size increases to gargantuan.

When you release your zanpakuto, wing-like appendages sprout from your back, similar to a butterfly.

Sip!

At 10th level, your power comes from experimental curiousity. While on your ressureción state, you gain additional benefits:

  • Your unarmed strikes now deal your zanpakuto damage die if they're not already higher as your zanpakuto merges with you.
  • If you are consumed in some way, you can possess whatever consumed you. Your statistics are replaced with the creatures as they lose control of themselves. When the creature dies, you return to normal.
I Am Born

At 15th level, your resureción evolves due to your experimentation. You gain the following additional benefits while in your Resureción state:

Telon Balon. You can wrap your wing like appendages around yourself to protect you. As a reaction, you can do so, allowing your wings to take the damage for you. Your wings have hit points equal to half of your maximum hp, and damage against them is reduced as though you were damaged for the purposes of damage resistances and hierro. If damage reduces them to 0, any excess damage is dealt to you. When you finish a long rest, they regain all of their hit points, and when you finish a short rest, they regain half of their hit points.

Teatro de Titere. You can create a voodoo doll of a hostile creature you have grappled (no action required). This releases them from the grapple, as you grab them with your wings then spit them out. The creature feels sensations and touch as though it was the doll, in addition to its normal feelings. The doll is marked with organs, and you can remove them freely, without harming the creature (though they still feel it). The organs have an AC 2 lower than the creature’s, and you can hit them with attacks as normal. On a hit, the attack deals additional damage equal to your wisdom modifier, as the target is damaged from the inside.

Your dm determines the effects of the damage on each organ, and how much damage disables or otherwise debilitates an organ.

Gabriel. You can make unarmed strikes with your wings. On a hit, the target takes piercing damage instead of the normal damage type for your unarmed strikes, and if the target is a female creature, it must make a constitution saving throw against your Reiryoku dc. On a failure, the creature is infected by your resureción, and on a success, they are immune to this ability for 1 minute.

If you die while a creature is infected, you are revived as though by the clone spell, except your age remains the same, and your statistics do not change. The creature drops to 0 hit points and is dying, or dies, as appropriate.

Only one creature can be infected by your resurreción at a time. If a creature is already infected by your resureción, you cannot infect another creature until you die, and are revived, as above, or that creature dies.

Beyond Ressurreción

Finally at 20th level, you managed to not only completely master your ressurreción, but also gain a new form. You can now activate your Ressurreción as a free action, and it's duration is increased to 2 minutes.

You have also learned how to access a even deeper power within yourself. As an action for 15 Reiryoku or as a bonus action for 5 Reiryoku if you're already in the Ressureción state, you can enter your "Beyond Ressureción" state. You gain the following additional benefits while on this form:

  • Your Strength, Dexterity and Wisdom scores increase by 2 once again, and so does their maximums.
  • Your movement speed doubles.
  • Voodoo dolls created by Teatro de Titere have 4 lower AC instead 2.
  • Your wings lose half as much health when they take damage.
  • Creatures make their constitution saving throw with disadvantage when affected by Gabriel.

When you release your zanpakuto, you are covered by 58 eyes.

Suppress!

At 10th level, your zanpakuto power comes from the intoxication of your opponents. You gain the following benefits while on ressurreción.

  • You gain advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks related to sight.
  • Brujería covers your entire body with fifty open eyes, and your lower body is replaced by a pink pumpkin-like structure, surrounded by cyclopean faces which somewhat resemble your own face. You gain a bonus to your perception skill equal to your Wisdom modifier and your sight range doubles. Additionally, you gain advantage on saving throws against the blinded condition.
Witchcraft

At 15th level, your Ressureción has diverse abilities that resemble kido spells. You gain the following reiatsu techniques:

Amor. As a bonus action for 10 Reiryoku, you can target an object or a limb within sight range and force them to make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, they get marked with a sun tattoo and will lose control of said limb or object for 1 minute. On a success, they become immune to this ability for 1 minute.

When you take control of a limb or object, you can force the creature to take any kind of actions with said limb, or control an object from afar. If you target a creature's head as a limb, they gain a bonus to their save equal to their Charisma modifier, if they still fail you control their entire body for 1 minute.

You can only have a number of limbs or objects in your control equal to your proficiency bonus.

This technique counts as a kido spell.

El Embrion. As a reaction to an attack or saving throw targetting you for 5 Reiryoku, your lower half becomes a full sphere that covers your upper body. You gain a damage threshold equal to your Wisdom modifier times your hollow level until the beginning of your next turn.

While this technique is active, you do not have advantage on Perception checks, you lose your Perception bonus, and you become blinded.

Beyond Ressureción

Finally at 20th level, you managed to not only completely master your ressurreción, but also gain a new form. You can now activate your Ressurreción as a free action, and it's duration is increased to 2 minutes.

You have also learned how to access a even deeper power within yourself. As an action for 15 Reiryoku or as a bonus action for 5 Reiryoku if you're already in the Ressureción state, you can enter your "Beyond Ressureción" state. You gain the following additional benefits while on this form:

  • Your Strength, Dexterity and Wisdom scores increase by 2 once again, and so does their maximums.
  • Your movement speed doubles.
  • Your Amor technique can now target two targets at once, and you can control a number of targets equal to your proficiency bonus added twice.
  • You gain resistance to all damage but psychic while El Embrion is active, you calculate if the attack reached the damage threshold after the reduction.

Pantera[edit]

When you release your zanpakuto, you go back to your primal hollow ways, where you were nothing more than a panther.

Grind!

At 10th level, your power comes straight from the beastial nature you had while you were a hollow. When you activate your ressurreción, you gain additional benefits:

  • You gain the benefits of the Beastial Adjuchas mutation using the Panther as your animal. You don't change your form, however you gain all of the benefits of the mutation. You gain a +10 to your movement speed and if you have the Hierro mutation it increases it's damage reduction by your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier.
  • Your zanpakuto merges with your body, replacing your unarmed strike and natural weapon attack's damage by it's damage die instead, unless if already higher.
Panther Fangs

At 15th level, like a panther, you fight with ferocity while in battle. You gain the following reiatsu techniques:

Garra de la Pantera. As an action for 10 Reiryoku, you launch a 5 dark green stone bombs from your elbow against one or more targets within 100ft. of you. Make a reiryoku attack roll. On a hit, the target automatically fails the Dexterity saving throw of this technique. Hitting or missing, the stones explode when reaching the ordered point and force every creature within a 30ft. radius of it to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 5d8 +5 force damage. On a success, they take half as much damage.

This technique deals twice as much damage to object and structures.

Desgarrón. Your claws glow, and you then make a slashing motion. Each claw becomes a long, sharp blade composed of Reishi, which can be hurled at the enemy. As an action for 15 Reiryoku, you force one creature within 100ft. of you to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 16d10 +80 force damage and are knocked prone. On a success, they take half as much damage and are not prone.

If they succeed the saving throw, the claws keep pushing them back. They must succeed a Strength saving throw or be pushed back in a 100ft. line.

Beyond Ressurreción

Finally at 20th level, you managed to not only completely master your ressurreción, but also gain a new form. You can now activate your Ressurreción as a free action, and it's duration is increased to 2 minutes.

  • You gain advantage on Dexterity saving throws, and your movement speed doubles for the purposes of escaping features such as Cero.

When you release your zanpakuto, you gain eight enormous tentacles, each of which are connected at one of the corners of an octagonal design fixated on your back, and a bone cowl on your head.

Strangle!

At 10th level, no opponent is safe when your tentaclea reach them. You gain the following additional benefits while on ressureción:

  • Your zanpakuto merges with your body, becoming eight tentacles thatcan be used as natural weapons. They use your Wisdom modifier for attack and damage rolls, their reach is 30 feet, and they deal your zanpakuto damage die in bludgeoning damage on a hit. If you hit someone with them, you may choose to make a grapple check against that creature. If you grapple a creature this way, you can't attack with that tentacle anymore and the creature is considered restrained.
  • You gain one additional attack on your attack action as long as it is made with your tentacles.
Tentacle Mess

At 15th level, your tentacles are extremely deadly, with just a hit being enough to make someone die crushed. You gain the following reiatsu techniques:

Lanza Tentáculo. As an action for 5 reiryoku, you can use one of your tentacles to attack a creature within 30 feet of you. Make a reiryoku attack roll. On a hit, the tentacle attack will be considered a critical and adds +10 additional damage times your Wisdom modifier.

La Hélice. As an action for 5 Reiryoku, your tentacles start spinning around you like an helicopter's propellor. Every creature in a 30 foot-circle must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take your tentacle damage and are knocked back 10 feet away. On a success, they take half as much damage and are knocked back half as much.

Jaula Tentáculo. As an action for 20 reiryoku, you launch a barrage of tentacles towards an opponent, surrounding them. Make a reiryoku attack roll with advantage unless the creature has a passive perception higher than your reiryoku DC. On a hit, the attack is considered a critical and the creature takes your tentacle damage +20 additional damage times your Wisdom modifier and must make a Strength saving throw. On a failure, they are knocked prone.

Hierro Virgen. You gain the Hierro mutation. As an action for 10 reiryoku, you can use your Hierro to harden your tentacles, making them grow sharp spikes. Until the beginning of your next turn, your tentacles deal additional damage equal to half of your Hierro damage reduction(rounded up).

Beyond Ressurreción

Finally at 20th level, you managed to not only completely master your ressurreción, but also gain a new form. You can now activate your Ressurreción as a free action, and it's duration is increased to 2 minutes.

  • Your Lanza Tentáculo and Jaula Tentáculo now ignore damage reductions and AC increases(not counting features such as unarmored defense).

Santa Teresa[edit]

When you release your zanpakuto, you become a four armed creature with the hardest skin out of all hollows.

Pray!

At 10th level, you are the hardest out of them all. You gain the following additional benefits while on Ressureción:

  • You gain two additional arms, which have the same functions as your original ones. In addition, you can do one additional attack on your attack action, as long as it's made with one of your additional arms.
  • Your Hierro's damage reduction is multiplied by 1.5 while on ressureción.
Additional Limbs

At 15th level, you learned the specialty of your Ressureción, creating new limbs as if they were nothing. You gain the following reiatsu techniques:

Arms Regrowth. You can generate up to 4 additional arms at will, with each costing 5 reiryoku. Your additional arms work perfectly and act the same as the original.

You may also grow them as a reaction to a creature entering or leaving your reach, making an attack roll with advantage with said arms. This also applies if you grow them while making an attack, although only once per turn.

Zanpakuto Creator. You can spend 5 reiryoku as a bonus action to create an additional zanpakuto, it acts the same and has the same properties of your normal zanpakuto. You can only have up to 6 copies of your zanpakuto.

You can do this as part of growing arms.

Beyond Ressureción

Finally at 20th level, you managed to not only completely master your ressurreción, but also gain a new form. You can now activate your Ressurreción as a free action, and it's duration is increased to 2 minutes.

  • You gain one additional attack on your attack action per two arms you have. Those attacks must be made using one of your additional arms.
  • Your Hierro damage reduction is now doubled while on your Ressureción. If you use Hierro as a reaction, you gain resistance to all damage types but psychic for that instance of damage.

When you release your zanpakuto, you gain dark wings as you start to resemble a bat.

Enclose!

At 10th level, like a bat in a dark cave, your ressureción grants you a dark appearance and black wings to fly. While on your Ressureción state, you gain the following additional benefits:

  • You gain flying speed equal to your walking speed thanks to your dark wings.
  • Luz de la Luna. Luz de la Luna. Once per turn for 5 Reiryoku, you can create a javelin of energy, or up to two at 15th level (no action required), which you are then wielding. These Javelins work exactly like normal Javelins, however you can use your Wisdom modifier, instead of strength, for their attack and damage rolls and they deal your zanpakuto damage die in magical piercing damage on a hit. As an action, you can throw the javelin at a creature within 120 feet of you, causing every creature within a 60 foot radius sphere centered on it (excluding you, if applicable) to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 16d6 + 40 force damage. On a success, they're able to use their movement (taking from their next turn's movement) to avoid the attack, taking half as much damage if they end their movement outside of the area. They can use movement increasing abilities that don't cost an action or bonus action during this movement, if necessary. If a creature doesn't have enough movement to avoid the effect, they automatically fail.

If a creature has a feature that makes their successes no damage and their failures half as much, they only take no damage on a successful save, while a failed save is always full damage.

Alternatively, while holding the javelin, you can use your action for 5 Reiryoku to cause this explosion to emanate from you. Every creature within a 60 foot radius sphere centered on you, excluding you, must make the saving throw as though you threw the spear at yourself.

If you have two javelins, you can only use your action to cause one of them to explode at a time.

Segunda Etapa

At 15th level, the true power of your ressureción is hidden deep inside of you, a power which you can bring out. As a bonus action for 5 Reiryoku while on your ressureción state, or as part of the bonus action used to enter it, you can bring out even more power, entering your segunda etapa state. While in your segunda etapa, the damage of your javelin’s explosion increases to 16d6 + 60. Your flying speed doubles, and you gain the following Reiatsu techniques:

Latigo. While on your segunda etapa, you gain a large bat tail that's very destructive in combat. Your tail uses your Strength or Dexterity modifier for it's attack and damage rolls, and deals your zanpakuto damage dice in piercing or bludgeoning damage on a hit. This attack deals twice as much damage to objects and structures. As a bonus action for 5 Reiryoku after having taken the attack action, you can make two Latigo attacks.

Lanza Del Relampago. Once per turn for 10 Reiryoku, you can create a spear of energy, (no action required). You cannot create this spear while you have at least one Javelin from Luz de la Luna, nore can you hold a javelin from Luz de la Luna while you have this spear. This spear works exactly like a normal spear, however you can use your Wisdom modifier, instead of strength, for its attack and damage rolls, and it deals twice your zanpakuto damage die in magical force damage on a hit. If a creature is reduced to 0 hit points by an attack from this weapon, it is killed outright, as it’s wound disintegrates part of its body fatally.

As an action for 5 Reiryoku while holding the spear, you can throw the spear at a creature within 600 feet of you, causing it and every creature within a 120 foot radius sphere centered on it to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take 20d10+100 force damage. On a success, they're able to use their movement (taking from their next turn's movement) to avoid the attack, taking half as much damage if they end their movement outside of the area. They can use movement increasing abilities that don't cost an action or bonus action during this movement, if necessary. If a creature doesn't have enough movement to avoid the effect, they automatically fail.

Beyond Ressureción

  • You can now spend Reiryoku up to 5 times your proficiency bonus added twice on your Lanza Del Relampago.

Tiburón[edit]

When you release your Zanpakuto, you take the appearance of a true hunter, being ready to go towards your prey like a shark.

Hunt!

At 10th level, your Ressureción covers you in bones, and transforms your Zanpakuto into a enlongated Shark tooth. While in the Ressureción state, you gain the following additional benefits:

  • You gain swimming speed equal to your walking speed, and you can breathe both air and water. You also gain the Water Manipulation mutation, which you can use in and out of Ressureción.
  • Your Zanpakuto turns into a enlongate shark tooth. It deals piercing damage on a hit, instead of its normal type, and you can use your Wisdom modifier for its attack rolls and damage rolls.
Master of The Sea

At 15th level, you became a true master of manipulating water. You gain the following Reiatsu attacks while on your Ressureción state:

Trident. Once per turn when you take the attack action you may spend 5 reiryoku to replace one of your attacks with 3 ranged reiryoku attacks. These attacks have a range of 100 feet and deal 3d12 plus your wisdom modifier slashing damage.

Hirviendo. As a reaction to being hit with an attack or forced to make a save that deals cold damage, or damage caused by water, you may spend 1 reiryoku to negate the attack or saving throw.

La Gota. As a bonus action you can spend X reiryoku to make a ranged reiryoku attack with a range of 200 feet, where X is 5 times your proficiency bonus. On a hit that creature takes (x times 2)d12 bludgeoning damage, where x is the reiryoku you spent divided by 5 (rounded down).

Cascada. As a bonus action you cast Tsunami, spending as much reiryoku as you normally would.

Beyond Ressureción

Finally at 20th level, you managed to not only completely master your ressurreción, but also gain a new form. You can now activate your Ressurreción as a free action, and it's duration is increased to 2 minutes.

  • If you are at at least 100 times your Wisdom modifier feets from a water filled spot, your Reiatsu attacks now cost half as much Reiryoku(rounded down). This water must be completely natural, and cannot be created through external means.

Arrogante[edit]

When you release your Zanpakuto, you become death itself, aging your opponents until their time runs out.

Rot!

At 10th level, your Ressureción burns your skin, reducing you to nothing more than a skeleton. While on the Ressureción state, you gain the following additional benefits:

  • You gain the Senescencia Mutation, and you may use it outside of your Ressureción. In addition, you may use your reaction granted by this mutation when you fail a saving throw, rerolling the save with advantage.
  • The cost of the features in Senescencia mutation are reduced by 5.
Aging Powers

At 15th level, you have a detoriorating aura around you. You gain the following Reiatsu attacks while on Ressureción:

Respira. As an action for 30 reiryoku you expand a mist of decay from your body for one minute in a circle centered on you with a radius of 30ft. The circle follows you and any creature that enters the circle or starts their turn in it must make a constitution saving throw, taking 20d10 necrotic damage on a failure or half as much on a success. Any object or magic that starts the round in the range of Respira is decayed and destroyed. Worn and carried objects are unaffected unless the dm says otherwise. As an action while Respira is active you can spend 10 reiryoku to increase the radius of the circle by 30 feet until the Respira end. When Respira would end you can spend 30 reiryoku to extend the duration for one minute.

Gran Caída. On your turn for 5 Reiryoku (no action required) you can summon an Axe; the Axe of Ruin. It functions as your Zanpakuto, except that it has the heavy property and reach property instead of its normal properties, does 1d12 additional necrotic damage on a hit, and deals slashing damage instead of its normal type. If you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with Gran Caída, it dies, as it crumbles to dust from age. You can’t summon this axe again until you are no longer wielding it or it is destroyed.

Beyond Ressureción

Finally at 20th level, you managed to not only completely master your ressurreción, but also gain a new form. You can now activate your Ressurreción as a free action, and it's duration is increased to 2 minutes.

  • Your very Reiatsu is filled with decay. Whenever you use the Reiatsu feature on a creature, you can choose to deal necrotic damage instead of force.

When you release your zanpakuto, your Reiryoku reverses increase massively, turning you into a deadly force of Reiatsu.

Spirit Power

At 10th level, your Ressureción transforms you into a deadly Reiatsu machine When you activate your Ressureción, you gain additional benefits:

  • Creatures have disadvantage on saving throws against your Reiatsu feature.
  • Your Zanpakuto transforms into two pistols that fire ceros, which have different properties. When you take the attack action, you can spend any number of attacks to instead fire a weaker Cero from your left gun. This works as the base Cero mutation, except it only costs 1 Reiryoku, and the damage and size is halved. For 2 attacks, once per attack action, you can fire from your right gun, firing your full base Cero, as though you used the Cero mutation as an action, except it still only costs 1 Reiryoku. If you have the light speed cero mutation, you can use it with this feature, and the right gun attack does not require an additional attack (Though this counts as your use of combo cero).
  • You gain the Soul Partitioning mutation, while in and outside your ressureción.
Overwhelming Reiatsu

At 15th level, you have learned new powerful Reiatsu attacks that use full advantage of your own massive reserves. You gain the following Reiatsu attacks:

Cero Metralleta. You point your guns into a direction of your choice, and fire thousands of ceros at once. As a full round action for 40 Reiryoku, you force every creature in a line equal in length to your cero, with a with equal to your cero’s multiplied by your Wisdom modifier to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, they take your cero damage did a number of times equal to half your wisdom modifier + the base damage bonus (if you have adjuchas cero, you use it as though you were level 10, and and if you have vasto lorde cero, you use adjuchas cero as though you were level 20). This dexterity saving throw works the same as your Cero dexterity saving throws, except on a success, they only have to move out of the area or out of a line equal in size to your base cero pointed directly at them to take half as much damage.

On your following turn you may spend 20 reiryoku as another full round action to continue firing your barrage, forcing any creatures in the line range to make the saving throw again. When you do so you may choose a new line. As long as you do not interrupt the sequence of full round actions you may do this on as many turns in a row as you wish, assuming you have enough reiryoku. If you have the Instantaneous Cero lord mutation this technique only takes actions instead of full round actions, though you can’t fire any more Ceros that turn.

Colmillo. As a free action for 5 Reiryoku, you can create one or two melee weapons made out of your reiatsu. You choose the type of melee weapon these zanpakutos replicate. You are considered proficient with them, and they can use your Wisdom modifier for their attack and damage rolls, instead of their normal modifier. They deal the same damage as your zanpakuto, however they deal force instead of your normal zanpakuto's damage. You can choose to use these instead of your Cero Pistols for the purposes of features which require a Zanpakuto.

Wolves. As a bonus action for 10 Reiryoku, you can summon a Reiatsu Wolf. You can spend additional Reiryoku on this equal to 10 times your proficiency bonus, with each 10 reiryoku spent adding another wolf. Each wolf lasts for 10 minutes or until it reaches 0 hit points. You can’t have more wolves than one plus your Proficiency Bonus at a time; if you summon more beyond this limit, the oldest wolves disappear until you are under this limit.

  • Ceros fired with your left gun now cost 0 Reiryoku.

Class Variant Rules[edit]

Fanmade Ressurreción Types[edit]

While it is enjoyable to play the ressurrecións of our favorite arrancar, sometimes we want something more original. You can use one of the fanmade ressurrecións created here or create your own alongside your GM with the Ressureción creation guide.

Canon Changes[edit]

Mutations[edit]

Assimilative Evolution. Now when you consume a corpse you gain their Reiryoku maximum added to yours or if they did not have a reiryoku maximum you instead increase yours by 5 times their level or CR (whichever is lower), you are considered an amount of levels higher equal to their level or CR (whichever is lower) for calculating your Reiatsu feature, and you gain an amount of mutations of your choice that you meet the prerequisites for equal to their proficiency bonus.

Soul Partitioning You have awoken one of the most unique abilities of them all, the ability to partition your very soul.

You gain a +8 bonus to your strength, dexterity, and wisdom scores, to a maximum of 30 (lord mutations can’t increase this maximum). Additionally, your reiatsu feature works on creatures who are your level or lower, and when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with Reiatsu, they instantly die and cannot be revived, as their soul leaves their body. You cannot choose to suppress this feature.

You are always depressed by your loneliness while you have these benefits.

You can choose, at any time to give up the above benefits to instead weaken yourself by splitting your soul in two, becoming an arrancar and gaining the Arrancar feat automatically.

Once you have gained the arrancar feat, your soul splits in two, and instead of any of the other Zanpakuto options your Zanpakuto is instead its own person. You also have a fake Zanpakuto, which repairs itself during a long rest and functions as a normal zanpakuto weapon, other than the fact that it disappears instead of merging with you or remaining when you enter your Resurreción state.

Create a second character sheet which is a level 5 Gillian Arrancar (it cannot level up past that). This Gillian Arrancar cannot take the Gillian Cero mutation and the damage of its Cero is halved if it has it. This Gillian Arrancar is controlled either by you or another player, as decided at your table. This Gillian Arrancar’s Zanpakuto is also a fake zanpakuto, acting the same way your fake zanpakuto, disappearing when you enter your Ressureción state. When you activate your Ressurreción this Gillian Arrancar disappears, becoming some part of your Ressurreción, usually a weapon which is your real Zanpakuto. You may act on the turn that this Gillian Arrancar would’ve had while in your Ressurreción, though you may not take an action on this turn (this does not stop you from taking bonus actions, free actions, or moving, though you don’t regain your movement on this turn).

Resureccións[edit]
