A Gourmet Hunter wielding Fragrance Gauntlets

Fragrance Gauntlets

Martial Ranged Weapons
Weapon Cost Damage Weight Properties
Fragrance Gauntlets Rare Special 8 lb. Ammunition (range 15ft cone), Finesse, Light, loading, Special, Glove, Reload (5 shots)

Fragrance Gauntlets are a unique choice of equipment for Gourmet Hunters which allows them to utilize a more control-oriented method of capturing creatures or subduing targets nonlethally. These gauntlets can be worn on both hands allowing for maximum ease of use to any notice or veteran hunter alike and can even store different types of fragrances within each pair to be combined for a devastating effect when inhaled by a creature or if contact is made. As an action, you may use your gauntlet to release a stream of fragrances in a 15ft arc causing a creature to make a DC 14 Dexterity Save or take 3d4 poison damage, and be subjected to the corresponding effect from the Fragrance Container used or half as much on a successful save and not be affected by the fragrance.

Fragrance Gauntlets use Fragrance Containers as ammunition.

Cross Streams If a creature is wielding both pairs of Fragrance Gauntlets, they may as an action on their turn put both of their arms together and launch a concentrated blast of fragrances extending the range of effect to a 30ft cone causing all creatures within range to make a DC 16 Dexterity Saving throw or take 6d4 poison damage, and be subjected to the two effects of the fragrances used, or take half as much damage on a successful save and not be affected by the fragrance. Using the fragrance gauntlets in this manner will consume double the normal ammunition.

Glove. A glove weapon is worn on your hand or forearm, and you cannot be disarmed of it. You can hold objects, wield weapons, and cast spells with a hand-fitted with a glove weapon, but you can only attack with the glove weapon if that hand is unoccupied.

Nonlethal If damage from this weapon reduces a creature's HP to 0, they are not killed outright and are instead rendered unconscious.
