I've been thinking about different ideas for 5e campaigns, and in interesting idea I've been thinking of is a reverse dungeon - a game where the players are evil monsters managing their own dungeon, setting tricks and traps for adventurers, kidnapping princesses, terrorizing the nearby Ye Olde Village(TM) and so forth. That being said, what are your thoughts on such a campaign? What sort of approach would make it the most fun? How would you make it interesting? If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them. I'd say they aren't just the monsters, but they act as the lair. Monsters are typically waiting for PCs and if they are one monster, after an encounter, what of them then? So they control multiple aspects of the dungeons, or multiple monsters. Almost sounds like an evil campaign too, which I always feel those go south quick.
