Blinding Necrostrike
2nd-level Necromancy
Casting time: 1 bonus action
Range: Self

Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute

The next time you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack during this spell's duration, your weapon flares with pitch-black energy, and the attack deals an extra 2d8 necrotic damage to the target. Additionally, the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or be blinded until the spell ends. The creature may repeat the saving throw at the end of each of their turns, ending the effect on a success.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 2nd.
