Weapon (warhammer), rare (requires attunement by a cleric) This warhammer looks like an oversized mallet or one-handed maul that weighs 5 pounds. One striking face is etched with a gauntleted fist; the other with an unarmored open palm. You have a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. Taketh. Before you attack, you can use a bonus action to speak the command word, "Taketh", striking with the 'fist' face. If the attack hits, you gain a number of charges equal to the damage dealt. You can use this property two times. Once you do, you can't use this property again until the next dawn. Giveth. As an action, you can touch the 'palm' face of the hammer to a creature and speak the command word, "Giveth." When you do so, that creature regains hit points equal to the charges that the weapon has. Any excess hit points are instead granted as temporary hit points. All charges within the weapon are then expended. |
