You splinter your soul into four green lashes that surround you. As a bonus action on each of your turns, you can force one of these lashes to strike at a target, after which they fizzle out. Make a ranged spell attack. On a hit, the target takes 2d6 + 1 necrotic damage.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a slot of 4th level or higher, you create one additional lash for each slot above 3rd. If this spell is cast as an 8th level or higher spell, you may hurl two lashes as a bonus action each round.
