Welcome to D&D Wiki![edit]

Welcome!

Hello Irykyl and welcome to D&D Wiki. I hope you have been enjoying D&D Wiki and I hope you have been finding the information here useful. Before you start contributing it is recommended you make sure your user preferences match your preferences. I help administer D&D Wiki, and everything relating to D&D Wiki's administration can be found here.

Questions

If you have any questions about a specific page please ask it on that page's talk page. If you have a D&D-related question please ask it on DnD Discussions. Other questions should be asked to another (ask me a question).

Formatting

Formatting on D&D Wiki (or any wiki for that matter) can be very difficult, and if you need help a good place to start is Help:Editing on Wikipedia (or even their Introduction page). This will explain basic wiki formatting and should provide quite a few useful links that explain more specific areas of wiki formatting. Again, if you have any questions about formatting on D&D Wiki please ask them as, I imagine, anybody will be more than happy to help you get them answered.

Community

A strong and welcoming community exists on D&D Wiki, and I am sure you will find it rather nice. Most discussions take place on content talk pages, however please feel free to ask specific D&D-related questions on DnD Discussions. Anyway, possibly since discussions are never deleted, people try to be nice. This means follow Wikipedia's guidelines on civility and etiquette when discussing anything. Also, on a pretty different note, to ensure people know who posted what, please sign your name after a post with four tildes (~~~~) or by clicking on the signature icon (Signature icon.png). This will automatically produce your name and the date. Anyway, I hope you come to enjoy D&D Wiki and the community and welcome again, you are now a D&D Wikian. --Green Dragon 10:57, 21 December 2011 (MST)

Thanks for the help.[edit]

Green Dragon, I really appreciate the work you have done on the wiki as well as the help yo have given me the past couple of days. Thanks!-- Irykyl 10:07, 1 February 2012 (MST)

Barnstar[edit]

I give you this barnstar for adding descriptions and summaries about various publication's contents. Thanks for improving the quality of D&D Wiki. --Green Dragon 10:47, 8 March 2012 (MST)

Thanks a lot! Here is a barnstar. --Green Dragon 10:47, 8 March 2012 (MST)

Picture Question[edit]

Just a real quick question were you planning to use the dwarven smith for something specific? If not I am thinking of tossing it into the artificer class as an additional picture if that is alright with you. Tivanir 12:52, 29 April 2012 (MDT)

I used it as a cover dwarf in the campaign setting I am writing. I got the picture from Wizards. I don't care if it gets used elsewhere.

Campaign supplement[edit]

Hey fixing some wording and layout issues with the supplement stuff if you find any changes you don't like go ahead and revert. Trying to make it more reader friendly. Tivanir 13:10, 7 May 2012 (MDT)

Tiberium Rising - Completed[edit]

Just thought you might like to know the Tiberium Rising (3.5e Campaign Setting) is finished. You commented on one of the weapon pages a while ago. Hope you can make use of it! --Yossarian (talk) 23:36, 22 May 2013 (MDT)

Helpers Page[edit]

I am attempting to implement a "Helpers" page to assist users with their problems. If you would like to help other users with wiki problems, simply add all of the following categories that you feel that you could assist in to your User Page. The Categories available are: [[Category:3.5e Balancing Helper]], [[Category:4e Balancing Helper]], [[Category:Proofreader Helper]], [[Category:Flavor Helper]], and [[Category:General Helper]]. If you choose to put one of the above categories, please also add [[Category:Helper]] as well. Thank you, Salasay Δ 13:44, 5 February 2013 (MST)
