World War Z[edit]

What is your opinion on a Zombie making virus? --Redrum 17:07, 4 January 2017 (MST)

Actually one of my old DMs had a similar idea for a campaign. Basically if you or any npc came into contact with the zombies blood they/you are now blighted and under the control of the dm. you also turn into a zombie as the same effect. For your idea however, how would the virus be spread and how would it effect npcs and players?Bannanameds (talk) 05:25, 5 January 2017 (MST)

I was thinking maybe airborne. Anyone with a constitution of 15+ would be immune to it. --Redrum 17:17, 11 January 2017 (MST)
What would the range be?Bannanameds (talk) 17:59, 11 January 2017 (MST)
I was thinking a couple hundred yards. --Redrum 15:28, 14 January 2017 (MST)
Thats pretty OP. How About 10ft multiplied by the CR of the creature?Bannanameds (talk) 13:33, 17 January 2017 (MST)
I can "live" with that. --Redrum 17:50, 18 January 2017 (MST)
Wow. You really needed to do that didnt you? Anyways do you want me to draw up a variant rule or do you want to do it?Bannanameds (talk) 18:36, 18 January 2017 (MST)
Honestly, you can post it if you want. --Redrum 14:15, 11 February 2017 (MST)

On Gods[edit]

I saw your comment on mara's page about challenging gods and while I don't have a proper solution (I did write a short page on DMing Killing Gods, though that's probably not what you were looking for) I can give you at least some examples of lore (as I am a self-proclaimed lore whore). For starters, you should decide what god your players are trying to kill. A high god? That's possible but the player may not be able to beat them in a fair fight. In the books they are depicted as pretty much all powerful and theres a reason they're not in the monster manual (for reference the strongest monster in the monster manual CR wise I believe is the Tarrasque which some culture apparently incorporate as their god's vengeance... so if that's the god's pet... well you can imagine the power of a god). If you still like the idea of kicking divine hiney (I sure did) in forgotten realms Bane, Bhaal and Myrkul took down... well coerced a willing high god to give up his power to them by killing a ton of minor gods. That could make for a pretty good campaign arc or a full campaign for that matter. Or you could make them take out individual avatars of the god? Or a weakened form of the god? (Pretty sure in 4e the lolth they depicted in one of the MM was a "weakened form" of the goddess)

If you want to take down lower tier gods, that'll be easier to make stat blocks out of. If you want references, I'm pretty sure the Rise of Tiamat book has the stats of the Dragon Queen herself on it, you probably can probably even find the full stat block floating around online if you search.

As for what to do with a player with god like powers... honestly you should keep the character in the campaign if it continues but not as a player character but as a generous patron NPC or something. Tell your player to make a new character and throw the party a generous boon once in a while just to show the new god Jimmy the Great is still looking after his old friends or something.

Alternately, you could turn the tables on the party and that their friend's accession into godhood made him drunk with power, making the new objective to kill the new god they unleashed on the world... talk about a plot twist.

Hope I gave you at least some ideas or at least a tidbit of helpful info. Sorry if it was a bit long, I have a habit of ranting on about stuff that isn't really important a bit too much. Good luck! :D --Balthazar (talk) 22:47, 12 January 2017 (MST)

Thank you for the tips. Iwas going to give them the option to fight gods for thier powers. maybe killing demigods for powersBannanameds (talk) 06:25, 13 January 2017 (MST)

About Bone Breaker[edit]

In response to your request, I just wanted to say that it isn't my class. I just made some edits to it to make a feasible class for 5e. It used to be really broken. I'm not sure who originally made it. --Jdantastic (talk) 22:25, 29 January 2017 (MST)Jdantastic

ok.Bannanameds (talk) 05:29, 30 January 2017 (MST)

HOI![edit]

Hey Bannanameds!

It's me, Hormy. I need your personal help. I'm planning for my Fey Knight to have this thing where they get a weaker version of a shadow servant. It's called a fairy guide and it is essentially a mixture of Navi and Midna from The legend of Zelda. I am making a template that will turn any creature into a Fairy Guide. I just need your help on making it because I am planning for fairy guides in a way to have their own levels, so please help me. Fey Knight's Fairy. Hormy (talk) 08:42, 28 February 2017 (MST)

Hormy im sorry but i cant really help you with creature stuff. however all fey have advantage on charm saves and immunity to sleep.Bannanameds (talk) 01:44, 6 March 2017 (UTC)

I did what i could so check it out when you can Bannanameds (talk) 18:00, 6 March 2017 (UTC)

HOI AGAIN![edit]

Hello. This is going to be the section where we talk about fairy spells. My first Idea is the cantrips. The main cantrips are arrow of light,(1d4 projectile of radiant damage), Dancing lights, Blinding light(blinding light gives you an increased stealth score), Libra(see magic), Fairy mind(increased charisma). This should be enough to get started Hormy (talk) 18:08, 6 April 2017 (UTC)

OK first off, whats libra. Second off, blinding lights doesnt make sense. Fairy mind should just give you advantage on charisma checks against non-fey creatures for 1 minute. Also are you going to give the two fairy courts as archetypes? Bannanameds (talk) 18:52, 6 April 2017 (UTC)
Libra is a reference to Final Fantasy. Maybe blinding light could instead induce distraction or drowsiness which makes it easier to sneak. And No, all fey-warriors are under the service of Corellon. The arcetypes for Feyknights are going to be Dragoons, Monks or summoners and The archetypes for Feycasters are based on the Spellcasting classes. I hope this makes sense. I will send more spells soon. Hormy (talk) 18:55, 8 April 2017 (UTC)
Never played the game sorry. Blinding light could be worded like this 'You force one creature within 30 feet of you to make a wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, an illusory light appears in the creatures vision, causing it to have disadvantage on perception checks for one minute' Bannanameds (talk) 23:27, 9 April 2017 (UTC)
That could work. I am going to start sending you the fey level 1 spells in a bit. Hormy (talk) 14:30, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
I'll be hereBannanameds (talk) 20:42, 12 April 2017 (UTC)
Alright, here we go! Fey armor, fey energy turns into armor, Feyslick, a carpet of moss makes one creature move half speed. Feyeball., you produce a small ball of fey energy that you can see through. Feyshade, a twilight fills the room, blinding everyone who doesn't have Low-light vision. Entice, you can entice the nearest person. If they fail a charisma check, then they will listen to a command of yours. Energabsorb, every damage you deal to an enemy, you gain health. Flaming twilight

Ok hormy your literally just renaming spells at this point. Fey armor=Mage Armor, Feyball=Chromatic Orb Feyslick=Grease, Feyshade=Darkness, Entice=Command, Energasorb=Vampiric Touch. All you need to do is copy and paste these spells with different flavor. Bannanameds (talk) 01:10, 14 April 2017 (UTC)

The importance of the stub template[edit]

See Talk:Confessor (5e Class). I'm not sure if you didn't notice or don't care. - Guy (talk) 18:17, 27 April 2017 (UTC)

Look dawg i noticed. And no i dont care. It takes me at most 3 days to write a class on this wiki. If you want to talk about the importance of the incomplete stub, go do it on some of the real incomplete classes. Bannanameds (talk) 19:47, 27 April 2017 (UTC)
My bad. I didn't realize how wonderfully special you and your classes are. - Guy (talk) 20:19, 27 April 2017 (UTC)Thank you very much.Bannanameds (talk) 20:41, 27 April 2017 (UTC)

Gravitonic Master[edit]

hello I recently got the class gravitonic master put in the incomplete section because it was imbalanced and I need some help to balance it as I love the concept of a gravity manipulating class and would hate to see it deleted if you want to talk about this we can skype or discord as they are a lot better to discus thing in Bloodarbiter (talk)

Im down. I cant skype til saturday though. Bannanameds (talk) 15:37, 30 April 2017 (UTC)

Im just gonna rewrite the class if thats chill with you. I should be done by 4 or 5 by my time. Or 6. Bannanameds (talk) 15:53, 30 April 2017 (UTC)

yeah that's great thanks and btw the anomaly and gravity knight are both less complete versions than the gravitonic master in case u want to use them as a reference Bloodarbiter (talk)

Thanks for the advice. Im going to stick with my own ideas on the subject. If you ever need anything else fixed up or re written let me know and tell your aquaintances. Bannanameds (talk) 18:52, 30 April 2017 (UTC)

Done. Let me know what you think when you can. Bannanameds (talk) 21:51, 30 April 2017 (UTC)

nice it seems pretty good but instead of a second fighting style at 5th lv multi atk would be good and maybe something else besides indomitable since its not really needed where the gravitonic master should get some kind of pin to the ground or fling in the air or be held in place option as a upgrade at 9nth lv to gravity aura also a levitate or haste/slow option to yourself and allies/enemies within your aura at 13nth lv and at 17 a mass invisibly as you are bending light and at a level when you get more aura option it gets a radius increase as a possibly better option at certain lv you get a choice of a gravity options and they all have some kind of prerequisites like level or wis 13 or a different aura option or a certain archetype selected also they should always come in 2s like if you can bend light to become invisible you get a gravity purge where you can stop invisibility and clear aoe effects like darkness but you can only dispel effects with a equivalent spell lv up to or equal to your proficiency bonus

the archetypes should get proficiency with certain armor and/or a gravity aura option when you choose them like heavy for gravity knight and medium for collision soldier

also is this gravity magical or natural for the purpose of dmg Bloodarbiter (talk)

Force damage is inherently magical and if it was natural it would be bludgeoning damage. I could trade off indomitable for feature upgrades as you stated above and fill in the levels as i go. The armor comment is exactly why that class got marked for balance issues. the flying is specifically for the archetype which grants it. the rest i just cant do. it woukd imbabance the class greatly. Bannanameds (talk) 17:45, 1 May 2017 (UTC)

the class was removed because it allowed you to have your dex mod on top of heavy armor that is fixed now Bloodarbiter (talk)

Your right. Ill let you know when im done. Bannanameds (talk) 17:54, 1 May 2017 (UTC)

thank you Bloodarbiter (talk) oh and the assassins insta kill move should be limited to non legendary creatures like the vorpal blade is and maybe it insta works on low cr like 5 or lower

Done again. Bannanameds (talk) 00:36, 3 May 2017 (UTC)

thank you thats perfect Bloodarbiter (talk)

no problem. Bannanameds (talk) 10:58, 3 May 2017 (UTC)

Quantumancer[edit]

Hi Bannanameds! From what I can tell, you seem eager to be of aid when it comes to other creations on here, and I noticed your reply on the discussion I posted about who to go to for reviewing. I was wondering if you'd be up to review my Quantumancer Wizard archetype. I don't need a re-write it or anything big like that (as I take some pride in my writing), but I'd really like a once-over from some different perspectives so that it can be further improved upon. Any assistance is greatly appreciated! --AmplSi (talk) 07:22, 7 May 2017 (UTC)

On it. Ill leave a reply on its talk page. Bannanameds (talk) 14:12, 7 May 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for your suggestions and feedback, it really helps! --AmplSi (talk) 17:32, 7 May 2017 (UTC)

Greetings from a Whovian.[edit]

Hello Bananameds, I recently came across your Time Lord race and I thougt it would be great fun to play. Would you mind pointing me to a homebrew class where Intelligence is the main stat so I can play the Time Lord race to it's full potential?

That's a tough one. I'd recommend anything with wizard casting or the chronomancer class Bannanameds (talk) 21:48, 4 June 2017 (UTC)

Dragon Rider Class[edit]

Hello, i was wondering what would happen if your character happened to be related to the dragon, this is for a character who uses the dracon race and his first dragon is his sibling? if you could explain to me or even better put something on the actual page explain what would happen in a similar situation. please and thanks--Lord Survival (talk) 00:01, 15 October 2017 (MDT)

Its really still the same relationship, with a different flavor, no mechanical difference 207.210.137.22 14:03, 16 October 2017 (MDT)
