Twin Axes of Vengeance (5e Equipment)
Weapon (greataxe), artifact (requires attunement) The Twin Axes of Vengeance are a pair of massive, infernally forged greataxes. Each axe is a masterpiece of demonic craftsmanship, inscribed with glowing runes that pulse with dark, infernal energy. The hilts are wrapped in the charred hide of fiends, offering an unsettling but firm grip. These axes grow in power as they are used, enhancing the wielder's combat abilities and imbuing them with infernal might. Although they are connected with a chain that suggests they are to be used one-handed, the Twin Axes are far too big to be wielded in a single hand. Inhuman Strength. Those not attuned to the Twin Axes swing these oversized greataxes with disadvantage. Attuning to these axes requires a Strength score of at least 20. You will still receive the benefit of the weapon damage, but not the rest of the other benefits if you are not tuned in with the weapon. Relentless Determination. You gain a +1 bonus to your Strength and Constitution scores according to your increase in proficiency bonus. (Increased Might: +2,+3,+4[...])up to a maximum of 30. Twin Fate. The Twin Axes are connected with Chains and cannot be separated, therefore they have to be used in a Dual wielding Stance. Those tuned with the axes can use them in double grip without any penalty. (Increased Might: Those Attuned to the Twin Axes no longer suffer from dual wielding Penalties, and gain +2 to AC) Demonic Potential. While Attuned the wielder gains a +2 to Attack Rolls. The Twin Axes have the ability to grow with the wielders strength. The damage die of these Axes (1d12) is increased by the wielders Strength Modifier(+2=2d8,+3=2d10,+4=2d12,+5=3d8,+6=3d10,+7=3d12,+8=4d8,+9=4d10,+10=4d12). Twin talents.
