Treetopper [General, Regional]
Your people are at home in the trees and high places, daring falls that paralyze most other folk in abject terror.
You get a +2 bonus on Balance
checks. You do not lose your Dexterity
bonus to AC
when climbing, and attackers do not gain any bonuses to attack you while you are climbing.
Some peoples, like the Wood Elves of Volare, or the Halflings of the Shadow Forest in Tirasus, live most of their lives in the trees, using the high ground for hunting, patrolling, and sometimes, for shelter. For most terrestrial creatures who cannot climb the tall trunks of the forest, this can often be a distinct disadvantage.
