Weapon (scimitar), Rare (major (XGtE p. 135)) (requires attunement by a cleric, druid, ranger or paladin)

This sacred scimitar is forged from steel and is silvered. A symbol of a moon god is etched on its handle. Attacks made with this magical scimitar have a bonus of +1 on attacks and damage rolls.

This sword can be used as a spellcasting focus for clerics who worship a moon god.

Radiant Glow. You can use a bonus action to speak this magic sword's command word, causing silver flames to erupt from the blade. These flames shed bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light for an additional 20 feet. While the sword is ablaze, it deals an extra 1d6 radiant damage to any target it hits. The flames last until you use a bonus action to speak the command word again or until you drop or sheathe the sword.

Lunar Spells. The Waxing Crescent has 5 charges and can use the following spells: guiding bolt (1 charge per spell level, up to 4th) , moonbeam (2 charges).

The Waxing Crescent regains 1d4+1 charges every sunset. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1, the sword lose this trait.
