Ring (Demiplane), Unique (requires attunement)

This ring is a set of five rings interlinked by chains with a bracelet. The ring worn on the middle finger has a black gem at the center. Once attuned, the entire ornament merges with your hand permanently until the attunememt ends.

This cursed ring houses the Evernight Woods, a demiplane mirroring the infamous Rouge et le Noir mountains. Although it was created as a preservation method for endangered species, it ended up being transformed into a corrupt vessel of undeath and aberration by the abhorrent outer deities that sought a storehouse for their aberrant creations. Although their planned failed, this ring became cursed. Once attuned, this ring grants absolute dominion over the Evernight Woods demiplane.

The Evernight Woods.: A 1 square mile demiplane. It largely resembles a dim, dark and eerie forest where foliage can range from sparse, dead willow trees to dense forests with ivy creeping up the bark of ash-grey, gigantic and twisted trees that house tiny aberrations. The woods are easy to get lost in, with trees shifting and spreading, natural landscapes merging and splitting apart; making it near impossible to map out. Only the owner of the ring may correctly navigate the forest.

Another aspect of this demiplane is its unique flora and fauna. This demiplane spontaneously spawns new species that can be only found there with the maximum challenge rating being 10. The flora includes shrieking oaks, trees that emit awful howls when touched, etherial roses, large pale plants that whisper snippets of long lost information, vanishing roots, plants that phase in and out of visibility at random, parasitic creepers etc. The fauna here are mostly the aberrations spawned by the plane such as shadowbeasts, nightmare bugs, astral owls, black-tailed sirens etc. Creatures from the demiplane cannot be brought outside.

The owner of the ring may freely enter this demiplane at will. Objects from the outer world can be stored here without any problems. However, creatures placed here from the outside turn into aberrations after 13 consecutive days of living here. The owner is immune to this effect. You can place a maximum of 13 creatures from the outside provided that each creature is within 30 feet of you. Unwilling creatures must make aConstitution save against your spellcasting DC and be transferred to the demiplane on a failure.

Curse. This ring is cursed. While attuned to this ring, the hand on which you have worn this ring suffers from partial necrosis giving a disadvantage on Strength and Dexterity rolls with that hand. Every midnight, you must make a Wisdom save or be affected by the weird spell. Damage from this spell does not kill you. Instead, you suffer one level of exhaustion everytime your hit points fall to 0 and are stabilized subsequently. You die if your exhaustion level reaches 5. Additionally, you are considered a mortal enemy of aberrant beings.

Attuning to this item curses you until you are targeted by a wish spell. You stay attuned to this ring even after death unless it is removed. The ring is indestructible.
