Talk:Warrior Bloodline (5e Subclass)

The general point of this bloodline is to make a Sorcerer equivalent of the Wizard's Bladesinger subclass, with its own warrior flavor. Feedback is appreciated --Lord Cupson (talk) 16:46, 13 August 2021 (MDT)

Small nitpick, sorcerers already get light armor proficiency. I've got concerns about the Extra Attack, how not even swords bards or hexblades get that, ontop of green flame blade shenanigans. Otherwise, everything looks good so far. --SwankyPants (talk) 17:12, 13 August 2021 (MDT)
I'm not sure which rulebooks you're looking at, but I know that sorcerers in the players handbook at least do not get any armor proficiency, no matter which bloodline they choose. As for the Extra Attack, I can understand your concern but I'd like to point out that it's the exact same kind of Extra attack that Bladesinger Wizards get at the same level. --Lord Cupson (talk) 17:20, 13 August 2021 (MDT)
Aw hell, I've got dementia again. No idea where I got the light armor thing from. My bad. --SwankyPants (talk) 17:27, 13 August 2021 (MDT)
I know creating a class or subclass is a process, which never is easy when taking care for balance and playability. I takes time. But good god lad, half a year you're grooving this one out. Although your dedication and discipline is remarkable, or at least not common. Most people contribute some frankenstein without a care in the world, and leave it to rot for years, until someone takes care of it one way or another, so your balancing is really nice. As for a subclass, everything fells right at place. Maybye give second cantrip to use, namely Green-Flame Blade to fill out the gap of booming blade. Because you know, only two cantrips have blade in name, and produce actual effect on a blade, yes, shenanigans, but everyone can have some fun if it's according to the original idea.--Cezaryx (talk) 05:51, 20 December 2021 (MST)
