Recreated[edit]

After being able to come back to this wiki after an extended period disconnected from the internet, I've come back to see my page was worked on that same day my access to this wiki was cut off. I was interested to see my work elaborated upon. I feel that what I had created was... okay although admittedly a little clunky. I've tried to change some of the details to try and make the weapon's attributes more clear and understandable.

Additionally, I've added a picture of the Dragonslayer Swordspear (which was the main reason I made the mundane swordspear in the first place). You asked what it was based on previously, and my answer is "a video game." I wasn't expecting this weapon to follow anything 110% realistic, simply due to its size and proportionality, but I simply wanted a reference weapon to work with and that others could use, like the Caretaker's Spade.

I hope these little edits help to make the weapon more understandable and clarify or resolve any problems one might've had with it originally. --Hobogre (talk) 23:23, 30 June 2017 (MDT)

I must recommend against having a Str requirement for a weapon. Firstly, you either meet the requirement or you don't. If you don't meet it, then you don't use this weapon. If you do meet it, then it's irrelevant, and you've got a reach weapon that deals 1d8 damage when wielded in one hand. Secondly, no other weapon, even Heavy weapons, have a Str requirement, so there's no internal consistency.
My closest recommendation: 1d8 slashing damage, versatile (1d10), heavy, special: If you are not Small or smaller, you can treat the weapon as a reach weapon. If you do so, you have disadvantage on the attack roll. Marasmusine (talk) 02:33, 1 July 2017 (MDT)
