Talk:Equestrians (Aleithia Supplement) (5e Race)

Note: I have no idea how to make a talk page. Regarding the language used, I'm not great at that, as the only group I've played with was very loose and impromptu. If you're familiar with dingo doodles, her first experience is not too far off from my own. I believe I've changed all the Queen's English to American, at least as far as I am aware. Thank you for not just deleting the page. If you use this and find I nerfed one of the subraces too hard, point it out. -poni gril

Well, I'm seeing some improvements made by the above person. I really appreciate the help with fixing my race. However, I will admit I'm not the best with grammar and such. If someone could help inform me of what exactly needs to be changed, I will happily make said changes. I've had a lot of trouble with getting the grammar and such just right, and I had believed I had gotten it so when I posted this. So, if anyone can please tell me what changes to make, it would help a lot and I will make them as soon as I can (i.e. when I next hop back here to check on the page). As for the random H&W chart, I'm not sure about it being "questionable". As far as I can tell from real ponies, from hoof to head, they're about 4-5 feet tall and really do weigh around 600 pounds... As these are literally just sentient ponies... that seems right to me? --Sureen Ink (talk) 14:59, 26 August 2018 (MDT)

I saw someone complaining about the "Hybrid Nature", but D&D UA recently released some races that utilize the Hybrid Nature trait. It's where I got the idea from, hence why I added it. So I don't think it's fair to say that's improper? Sureen Ink (talk) 20:45, 2 September 2018 (MDT)

I am still uncertain as to why people are complaining about the RW&H tables... I spent an entire week looking up and researching the heights and weights of real life ponies to make the table. Those are, in fact, the heights and weights of real live ponies. These are, in fact, ponies, and not horses, so their heights and weights are matched to those and not horses (which are considerably bigger and heavier). Please use this discussion page to explain why you feel that these tables are not correct. I cannot fix the issue if you are not willing to talk to me. Is there a reason as to why the custom armour requirements got removed? They seemed to be a logical Nerf to me. -poni gril

From what I understand, there are other races that have need for "custom armor", yet 5e didn't make that a factor in them. I don't know for sure, I just saw someone calling it unbalanced to need it, so I removed it. What I'm curious about is why "Equestrians" needs to be lower case if it's the race name? Since they want me to capitalize the rest of the race names? Or are all race names supposed to be lower case? Sureen Ink (talk) 00:59, 21 September 2018 (MDT)
