Talk:Death Armor (5e Spell)

I'm worried I didn't balance this spell correctly, so if someone could say whether they think something is wrong or unclear, it would be appreciated. Ninjablade46 (talk) 12:51, 23 February 2017 (MST)

Casting time can't be "instantaneous"
You should make the distance one of the standardized distances (10 ft., 30 ft., 60 ft.). If you're not using a tactical map, this is shorthand for "very close", "close-ish", "medium" range
Components are V, S and/or M. (with "small piece of metal." going in brackets after the M [and what kind of metal?])
What does "Cast the spell on a target creature" mean? Is it a ranged spell attack? A creature in range? How much damage does it deal?
What is the duration for? Is it the duration of the temporary hit points? Say so.
Do you have a copy of the Player's Handbook? Perhaps read the introduction to the Spells chapter. Look at a few example spells to see how the wording goes.
You've categorized it as "Cleric 2". In 5e, a 3rd level spell is 3rd level for everyone.
Missing breadcrumbs for the class spell lists. Edit the page and look just above the categories. You need one of those for each class. Marasmusine (talk) 13:53, 23 February 2017 (MST)

I took care of components, the distance, and the level issues, i'm confused about the breadcrumbs statement though. ill fix the rest when i have time. Ninjablade46 (talk) 14:45, 23 February 2017 (MST)]

I do own a copy of the 5e PHB as well as the DMG. Ninjablade46 (talk) 11:32, 24 February 2017 (MST)

I figured out the breadcrumbs.
