Talk:Angel (5e Race)
From D&D Wiki
This is way too OP.
- and now I realize you made this before you mentioned it in the other thread, well let's see what you got --Suppoko (talk) 10:07, 5 November 2016 (MDT)
- The Angel class (prestige class? racial class?) says it advances separately from your "actual class", but I don't see any guidance for how this is intended to function. Can you make a 1st level Angel Fighter or are you a 1st level Angel 1st level fighter (2nd level character)? If a first level character can have both a PHB class and angel class simultaneously, would you expect that character to start with potentially four saving throw proficiencies? How about hit dice, does a 1st level Angel Sorcerer have 2d8 hit dice? With a 0 con modifier, what would their starting hit points be? If it's intended to just work like a race-restricted prestige class, is it mandatory for the first 10 levels of the character? I'm not sure how else to interpret "When you gain a level with your angel character, you take a level in the angel class." Vaegrim (talk) 20:42, 16 May 2017 (UTC)
- This is no longer relevant since I've reverted it to before the lesser restoration and flight traits were added. What do we do with this template now, comment it out? Marasmusine (talk) 08:50, 23 April 2018 (MDT)
Could you possibly make the Angel class a full fleshed out class?
- I'm assuming you mean up to level 20? Most prestige classes don't go up that far, however, as this is a wiki you are free to add to this page and bring it up to 20th level. Though I'd make an account and read through the Help:Portal first, specifically the 5e Class Design Guide is very helpful for those just starting off on creating content on the wiki. —ConcealedLight (talk) 01:38, 22 June 2018 (MDT)
