What is the distinction between a trap and a hazard? --Kydo (talk) 12:06, 1 October 2016 (MDT)

Hazards are "environmental dangers" and are "functionally similar to traps". Hazards are not normally hidden, traps are.
Green slime covering the floor is a hazard. A chest that launches green slime at you when you open it is a trap. Marasmusine (talk) 11:42, 1 November 2016 (MDT)
