Sseth's Fang Chainmail (5e Equipment)

Armor (chain mail), Very Rare

This silvery chainmail looks innocuous on a glance. But upon closer inspection, one realizes the many chain links are actually fashioned after hundreds of silver-wrought serpents biting their own tails. The chainmail is blessed with Sseth's own venom, which leaches onto the wearer. This armor was actually used as a form of torture, rather than an armament for Sseth's followers. It was used only by high priests of the snake god to punish the highest of offenses against Sseth.

Curse: Sseth's Venom. This armor is cursed, a fact that is revealed only when an identify spell is cast on the armor. Wearing the armor curses you until you are targeted by a remove curse spell or similar magic. Removing the armor lifts the curse. While cursed, this armor cannot be removed from you. You are considered poisoned while cursed. At the start of each of your turns while you are poisoned in this way, you take 5d6 poison damage.
