Weapon (greatsword, longbow), legendary (requires attunement by a creature of good alignment)

Each of the 27 solar's is said to possess a weapon akin to this one.

When you attune to this magic weapon it resizes to match your size category as per page 278 of the Dungeon Master's Guide and gain the following benefits.

You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. If you score a critical hit with it, the target takes 6d8 radiant damage. As a bonus action, you can teleport Solar Instrument to your hand and change its form to either a greatsword or a longbow. It has the following additional properties.

Flying Sword. As an action, when Solar Instrument is a greatsword, you can release the weapon to causing it to hover magically in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of you. If you can see Solar Instrument, you can mentally command it as a bonus action to fly up to 50 feet and either make one attack against a target or teleport to your hand. While hovering, if Solar Instrument is targeted by any effect, you are considered to be holding it. Solar Instrument falls if you die.

Slaying Longbow. When you make a ranged weapon attack when Solar Instrument is in its longbow form and the target is a creature that has 100 hit points or fewer, it must succeed on a DC 15 Constitution saving throw or die.

Radiant Ammunition. When you draw back the bowstring on Solar Instrument an arrow made of light manifests if no arrow is provided. If the arrow that manifests isn't fired it disappears.

Design Note: This is an attempt to convert a solar's weapon into a more reasonable piece of player equipment akin to the Githyanki's greater silver swords in MToF.
