Signet of the Dragon Queen (5e Equipment)
ring, rare (requires attunement) This tarnished platinum band is embedded with five shards of stone. One of diamond, one of onyx, one of emerald, one of sapphire, and one of ruby. Thru each flows a malicious, yet powerful, presences, each one distinct in its hellish evil. These rings are sometimes given to valued dragon cultists by abishai to both give them a taste of the power Tiamat can bestow and hasten their entry into dragon-fiends' ranks. You can read, speak, understand, and write Draconic. As an action, you can use this ring to summon a draconic servant of Tiamat. Roll a d6 and summon the creature from the Tiamat’s Tormentors table below based on the roll. The creature manifests in an unoccupied space that you can see within 30 feet of you and the creature disappears when it drops to 0 hit points or after 1 minute. While the creature is summoned, you have resistance to the damage type associated with it in the Tiamat’s Tormentors table. Once you use this property, you cannot use it again until the next dawn. The creature is an ally to you and your allies. In combat, it shares your initiative count, but it takes its turn immediately after yours. It obeys your verbal commands (no action required by you). If you don’t issue any, it takes the dodge action and uses its movement to avoid danger.
Special. If you are attuned to the Mask of the Dragon Queen assembled from all five Dragon Masks, the creature summoned by this item is summoned for up to 1 hour and the curse’s damage cannot reduce you below 1 hit point. Additionally, when you roll a 1 on the Tiamat’s Tormentors table, you summon 5 pseudodragons instead of 1. |
