Lightning leaps from your body and toward the creature that damaged you. The creature must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 2d10 lightning damage and is stunned until the start of its next turn. On a success, the creature takes half as much damage and isn't stunned.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d10 for each slot level above 2nd.
