3rd-level evocation
Casting time: 1 bonus action, which you take immediately after you hit with a melee weapon attack
Range: touch
Components: V,
Duration: Instantaneous


When you attack and hit an enemy creature with a melee weapon attack you can choose to channel your magical energies into your weapon dealing additional damage.
The damage of this spell is determined by your alignment: A character of Good Alignment does Radiant energy, an Evil aligned character does Necrotic energy, and a character that is neither Good nor Evil does Force damage.

The target of the attack must make a Wisdom saving throw. On failed save, the target takes 4d10 damage of the type chosen by your alignment, or half as much on a successful save.

At Higher Levels. When you Cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th Level or higher, the damage is increased by 1D10 for each spell slot above 3rd.
