Wondrous item, very rare (major) (requires attunement by a creature with spell slots) This golden earring contains 6 tiny gem studs of varying size and coloration. While you wear the earring, you gain an additional spell slot for each level of spell slot you have, up to 6th level. Curse of Fragility. Whenever you take damage for the first time on a turn, you take an additional 1d6 necrotic damage and your hit point maximum is reduced by that amount until you finish a long rest. A remove curse spell cast on the earring suppresses the damage it deals for 1 hour. If your hit point maximum reaches 0 as a result of this curse, you die.
