This blade of darkness seems to absorb the surrounding light. You have a +3 bonus to attack rolls and damage rolls with this magic weapon.


You can use your action to make a drain attack against a creature within 5 feet of you. The target must make a DC 21 Constitution saving throw or take 6d10 necrotic damage. You regain hit points equal to the necrotic damage you dealt. You must wait one hour before you can use this feature again.

Sentience. Pahlem is a lawful evil sentient weapon. Intelligence 18 (+4), Wisdom 24 (+7), Charisma 14 (+2) and can hear and has darkvision within 60 feet. The weapon understands and speaks Common, Dwarvish, Giant, Gnomish, and Infernal inside the wielder's mind.
Personality. When in combat, Pahlem can be heard making comment's such as "yess, more blood....", "Feed me...", etc. Pahlem was a Dwarf, but is usually not very talkative, unless it is about battle, which Pahlem enjoys talking about. Pahlem may tell the wielder after many battles about his participation in a great war with elves, and if asked about the outcome of the war, Pahlem will only tell the wielder fragments of the later stages of the war as he somehow descended into madness during the war. If you fail to feed Pahlem blood for a week, the wielder will have an argument with the weapon at dawn.
