Armor (shield), very rare (requires attunement) A design known to and craftable by only the most pious of good-aligned forge clerics, these gleaming silver tower shields adorned with celestial runes serve as an ultimate rampart against the evils of both the undead and their living masters. It even allows its fallen wielders to avoid bolstering their enemy’s ranks, though this protection can prevent more peaceful revivals. This shield is a Holy Symbol for any Cleric or Paladin. You have resistance to necrotic damage, advantage on saving throws against necromancy spells, and undead creatures have disadvantage on attacks against you. If you die while attuned to this shield, your corpse is immune to necromancy spells unless cast using the wish spell. You can cast shield of faith on yourself without a spell slot or spell components. Once you use this property, you can’t do so again until the next dawn or when you reduce an undead creature to 0 hit points. |
