Ambusher. The molgera has advantage on attack rolls against any creature it has surprised.

Siege Monster. The molgera deals double damage to objects and structures.

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If Molgera fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Weak Point. Attacks which specifically target the tip of molgera's tongue bypasses its damage immunity. Any attack roll made as a called shot, such as against this weak point, is made with disadvantage. If the attack does slashing damage, it additionally deals double damage.

ACTIONS

Multiattack. Molgera makes one slam attack and one bite or swallow attack.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 28 (5d10 + 6) bludgeoning damage, and the target is grappled (escape DC 15). Until this grapple ends, the target is restrained, and molgera can't bite another target.

Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +11 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 32 (5d12 + 6) bludgeoning damage.

Swallow. Molgera makes one bite attack against a Large or smaller target it is grappling. If the attack hits, the target is swallowed, and the grapple ends. The swallowed target is blinded and restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside molgera, and it takes 14 (4d6) acid damage at the start of each of molgera's turns. Molgera can have only one target swallowed at a time. If molgera dies, takes 30 damage from the inside, or suffers damage at its weak spot, a swallowed creature is no longer swallowed and is regurgitated into an unoccupied space within 10 ft. of molgera, falling prone.

REACTIONS

Spawn. If molgera suffers damage to its weak point, it births 3 (1d4 + 1) molgera larvae, which appear in an unoccupied space within 30 ft. of it.

A Molgera is a colossal sandworm that lives deep in canyons, wastelands, and other deserted regions with a plentiful amount of sand. It is easily identifiable by its large, flap-like vertical mouth. The region that the molgera lives in usually has it as its apex predator, with very little able to stand up to the pure might of this beast.

Weaponized Offspring. A molgera has the ability to give birth to batches of molgera larvae, which will assist their mother in combat until death, which means very few live to adulthood.
