Range: | Touch |
Components: | V, S, M (a small silver hood worth 50 gp) |
Duration: | 8 hours |
A willing creature you touch is surrounded by a shimmering ethereal mantle that places a protective barrier between it and the elements. For the duration of the spell, they gain the following benefits:
- The creature gains a +1 bonus to its armor class.
- The creature automatically succeeds on saving throws made against the effects of extreme cold and extreme heat.
- The creature and any objects it is wearing or carrying are kept magically dry and unsoiled by substances such as blood, dirt, grease, grime, mud, or oil.
- Choose one damage type from acid, cold, fire, lightning, or thunder, or two from nonmagical bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing. The creature gains resistance to damage of that type.
You may end the spell early as an action.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, you may choose one additional damage type to grant resistance to for each spell slot above 4th. Alternatively, you can choose to target one additional creature for each slot level above 4th. The creatures must be touching when you target them.
