Weapon (longbow), legendary (requires attunement by a paladin) A remarkable bow formed from the wood of a blessed tree. You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. The Longbow of Smiting is a longbow that can have any prepared smite spell applied to the arrows fired from this bow regardless if the smite spell specifies that the smite spell can only be applied to a melee weapon attack. A smite spell is any of the following spells: banishing smite(PHB p. 216), branding smite, destructive smite/wave(PHB p. 231), searing smite(PHB p. 274), staggering smite(PHB p. 278), thunderous smite(PHB p. 282), and wrathful smite(PHB p. 289). |
