Weapon (any axe), very rare (requires attunement)

The lightning axe is a relatively normal axe made of silver that has the ability to create lightning. You have a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls with this magic weapon.

Spells. The axe has 6 charges and regains 1d4 + 1 expended charges daily at dawn. If you control the axe, you can use an action and expend 1 or more charges to cast one of the following spells (save DC 16) from it: call lightning (3 charges) or lightning bolt (3 charges).

Lightning Enchantment. As a bonus action, you may enchant the axe with the power of lightning for a brief period of time. For the next 10 minutes, this weapon deals 1d8 additional lighting damage to any target it hits. The axe regains use of this effect at dawn.

Paralyzing Strike. When you hit a creature with this axe, as a bonus action you may release a jolt of electricity into them. The target must make a DC 16 Constitution saving throw or be paralyzed until the end of their next turn. This effect may be used 2 times, and this weapon regains all expended uses at dawn.
