A laser gun sight is a tool which enhances the accuracy and targeting capabilities of a firearm — being more advanced version of Laser Sight (5e Equipment), and a tiny laser pistol in their own right.

There are two basic types of laser gun sights: Detachable laser gun sights, which can be detached or attached to a handgun or rifle, and integral laser gun sights. Laser gun sights can emit either visible lasers, or infra-red lasers which can only be seen with the aid of a night-vision device. The type of beam a laser gun sight emits can be changed as an object interaction.

Detachable Laser Gun Sight: A detachable laser gun sight can be mounted on a firearm as an action. Once a laser gun sight is mounted, it must be properly aligned with the weapon, and calibrated to suit the weapon's wielder, or it provides no appreciable benefit. It takes a minute to align and calibrate a detachable laser gun sight, which must be done whenever it is attached or removed from a weapon, or whenever a character for whom the sight is not calibrated decides to wield it.

Integral Laser Gun Sight: Integral laser gun sights are built into a weapon system, and provide their benefit to any wielder.

A laser gun sight provides a +2 bonus to attack rolls against creatures or objects that are not obscured or lightly obscured for reasons other than the prevailing light level (e.g. fog and smoke). Laser gun sights still provide their bonus in dim light and darkness. If you are hidden, and you use a laser gun sight on your turn, creatures have advantage on Perception checks to determine your position if they are capable of perceiving the laser.

Additionally, Laser Gun Sight can switch into combat mode — beam becomes stronger and brighter, to the point of being deadly (switching modes is bonus action). In such case, bonus to attack rolls increases to +3, and Laser Gun Sight works as a weapon - 3d4 radiant, Ammunition (range 40/120), Finesse, light, reload (25920), special. It automatically fires at same target on which main gun is firing, what is treated as if it was a separate attack, no additional actions required.

A laser gun sight runs for 72 hours of continuous use hours on futuristic rechargeable battery, about as big as modern AA battery. In combat mode, energy depletes 2 times faster.
