Weapon (katana), legendary (Require attunement)

This katana has a a black handle and a greenish blade, forged from the rare Baatorian Green Steel, found in the depths of the nine hells. This magical katana is lighter than its regular counterparts and its blade is sharper, thanks to the special ore used on its confection. This weapon is considered to have the finesse property, and have a bonus of +1 on damage rolls even when unattuned.

Hellfire Blade While attuned to this weapon, its blade ignites with hellish flames, causing additional 2d6 fire damage on a hit. The flames also lick the targets from a distance, as if it had the reach property. Attacking creatures beyond the 5 feet range converts the slashing damage into fire damage.

Spells. This weapon has 3 charges to cast spells. As long as you are attuned with this sword and attuned to it, you can spend the appropriate number of charges to cast hellish rebuke (1 charge per level, up to 4th level) and searing smite (1 charge per level, up to 4th level). Once a day when you slay a creature, the katana regains 1d3 expended charges.

Hellfire Burn. Any fire damage caused by this magic item properties ignore resistances to fire damage, and treat immunity as resistance. Also, on critical hits with this weapon the target must make a DC 17 Dexterity saving throw or it burns, taking 1d6 fire damage at the end of each of its turns unless it uses an Action to douse the flames.

Curse. Attuning to this item curses you until you are targeted by a remove curse spell or similar magic. Whenever you grab this weapon (take it from the ground, drawing it, etc) or lose grasp from it (stowing, falling unconscious, being disarmed, etc) you lose 1 hit point.
